Awesome Al. I can hear ya now in my head on Wild & Innocent. Yep, before I posted I checked the album credits, and remember reading your credit all those years ago. Cool. If I'm not mistaken, you did some work w/ the Jukes? You Guys shaped my world back in the day. This comin from a boy in NC. The neighborhood grew up w/ Bruce (& E-Streeters), The Jukes and Miami Steve. God Bless Y'all...
@craigscot67 Craig, I was thinking the same thing. Tinton Falls was once known as "New Shrewsbury" before 1975 but Shrewsbury is a different area. Sounds like Stevie was telling the crowd where a party was to be held after the show.
I can hear Stevie saying something about "While we're on the subject, 60 Silver Brooks Shrewsbury. What time is it?" Then Vini Lopez says,"There's a PARTY here." I think Bruce says, "Is this the police station?"
This photo is NOT Steel Mill. It's a band called Lemon Lip Louie and the Melon Seeds taken in April of '71 at the Junction Turkey Expo at St. Bernard City College in Milwaukee, WI.
This photo is NOT Steel Mill. It's a band called DR ZOOM AND THE SONIC BOOM taken in 1971 at the ERNIE THE CHICKEN FESTIVAL at NEWARK STATE COLLEGE in Union, NJ. I was in that band.
@mandoalbee Glad to hear you were in Dr. Zoom. If that's true, you were one of the original members of what would become the E Street Band. Man that's cool...
@WauliPaulnuts Thanks man. I performed with them as Albany Al on saxophone. I also played baritone sax on the song E Street Shuffle as a guest on the Wild, Innocent, E St.Shuffle LP.
@mandoalbee Lemon Lip Louie headlined for you guys too. I performed with them
as Jenkins Mortimer on the woodwind moog. I also played electric tambourine on the the song Basted Chicken Blues as a stand-in on the Chilly gone Willy, Lemon Lip Louie Anthology 7"

Albee, a wee bit of research revealed 60 Silverbrook Road, Shrewsbury, NJ. Now Tinton Falls?

I played moog in that band.

@sirlordwhitman
Haha, i like that band name....however....that is definitely a photo of Gary W. Tallent (bass), Bruce, and Southside Johnny (harp).
More than likely the Bruce Springsteen Band or Dr Zoom and the Sonic Boom. There was no Moog in this band. The audio is definitely Steel Mill.
