I go to Church rarely. But my walk with Jesus is astounding. He can always hear you, but sometimes its hard to catch what He has to say. I dont know if it feels like there is a wall that divides you and Jesus right now, because there are many people who are experiencing that at the moment, and i can't tell you why. But, I just say that you pray about every little thing that is biting at you. But with praying, you can't stop. He'll come through in the end i promise
I just came back from a retreat today. This was the retreat where I shed tears of joy as I prayed my heart out to God. I truly believe that God is with every single one of us. Thank you so much God for everything you have done in my life.

@MetalScreamer802 Just pray for them. Let them see the Lord in you. Also, continue to try and witness to them..even if it doesn't work now..you never know. One day, because of something you said, their lives could be changed by our glorious God. If you let the Lord guide you through your day they are bound to notice the difference in you.

@katyktk8y There are not two creation stories in Genesis. Not sure why they said there was. It is simply one creation with the creation of the planet, sun, moon, stars, water, plants, animals, etc talked about first, then it goes on to talk about the creation of man. It is only one creation story.
I love & listen to Christian music day in day out. Some songs attract me more than others. The funny thing about this is the very end reminded me of a group I listened to years ago-Cold Play and a song they sang, might have been yellow. Christianity is the only "Religion" that you don't have to earn your way to heaven, just accept this gift of Grace and your in. His death is the greatest act of Love ever. to metalscreamer, I believe you are what you consume, this makes a person happy because it shows a positive motive, in turn you are happy, if you listen to gangsta rap, you probably have a chip on you're shoulder, if you listen to goth (non satanic) then you are more likely to be more accepting of others, if you listen to satanic music, you probably are on the deffensive..me ? I love music. but i listen to more than one genre of music. i love metal but i hate when my friends say im a poser becuz i listen to this stuff. and i know im not a poser threes no way i could be when it comes to metal, but i don't pretend to be all satanist wannabees like them. i love god and im never going to give up on him. this music makes me so happy and i know im not the one that's going to go to hell. i feel bad for them , and i keep trying to help them. hopefully i can see them in heaven

@MetalScreamer802 Just pray for them. Let them see the Lord in you. Also, continue to try and witness to them..even if it doesn't work now..you never know. One day, because of something you said, their lives could be changed by our glorious God. If you let the Lord guide you through your day they are bound to notice the difference in you.

God is a God of love. He has to have something to express that love to.. therefore he created mankind. God wanted us to love him on our own free will not because he makes us, thats why he gave Adam & Eve free will.. thats how they chose to disobey him & sin entered into them. But God knew what he was doing.. he searched Heaven & Earth for a way to be reconciled with his beloved creation. He came as a baby & lived & died and rose again so that whoever believes in him can live forever. Full circle

@katyktk8y There are not two creation stories in Genesis. Not sure why they said there was. It is simply one creation with the creation of the planet, sun, moon, stars, water, plants, animals, etc talked about first, then it goes on to talk about the creation of man. It is only one creation story.

I love & listen to Christian music day in day out. Some songs attract me more than others. The funny thing about this is the very end reminded me of a group I listened to years ago-Cold Play and a song they sang, might have been yellow. Not even sure what the words were, but loved the mellow sound. Absolutely can't compare to this powerful song, but it is what got my attention. Anyway I love EMMANUEL, and desire more of HIM in my life!

@PiranhaJaw22 Blessing, I hope you get to "know" Him too. It is simple. Death did start with Adam's sin. Our Father put up His Son, Jesus to pay for all of mankind's sins,past present and future. Christianity is the only "Religion" that you don't have to earn your way to heaven, just accept this gift of Grace and your in. His death is the greatest act of Love ever. His death for our sake is so significant. all calenders were reset to mark His death. Jesus LOVES you just the way you are.

@kenandvianey You are referring to the second creation story. The first creation story does not mention original sin. I will assume you do not believe in the 7-day creation then. If the first story is believed, then Jesus' theological act was done in vain. Believing that one's sins are forgiven allows the reason for abuse, oppression, discrimination, and injustice among those who do practice this belief, especially if you don't have to 'earn your way to heaven.'

Therefore, the flow of discourse runs from Gen1 to Gen2 and following, not vice versa, as you would assume.Read Romans 6. Those that earn way don't abuse, oppress, etc? 1 Cor 15:56
