Heath Ledger has done something nobody else has ever done - He brought a cartoon character to life and made him human. He created a villain that wasn't after money or power. He was just a genuine psychopath trying to prove our inhumanity. The parallels to real life are incredible. All of that depth, the fact that this is an Oscar worthy movie, hinges on Heath Ledger being a believable villain with face paint on. His family should be proud.

yeah i noticed it.Makes a huge difference when u add an S from laughter to slaughter hahaha I laughed really loud in the theatre when I saw that scene I taught it was really awesome n funny too!
Hey anyways I just love this scene Joker was really brave with the way he hangs himself at the sliding door just to blast Harvey Dent when he knows he could be the target as well and could end up dead.He does all the work himself while his goons helped him.Gotta love that!Sexy!

No they used miniature models. I've seen a pic of the mini dump truck and tumbler being setup by the FX people.

I loved this film, the best live action by far, loved batman since the age of 4 (when the animted series come out) thats why ledger is the best live action joker but for me its always gona be mark hamill. If anyone hasnt seen mask of the phantasm i reccomend its a lot like this only cartoon, the joker and batman story line is similar aswell.
