So wonderful to see how beautifully it's being used almost 30 years later! I hope David Meece can see this video sometime.

Is there a resource available to show churches how to begin this type of ministry. For example, how many people are required, tips on lighting for effect, and then the choreography, who is doing what? I would love to see it with natural light on so I could show my people what I want them to do.

I am not sure if there are resources for learning hand mime. I only watched a lot of hand mime videos here in You Tube and from a church in Zurich who have been doing this for years. I did the choreography, I pictured in my mind what's best to show what the lyrics is saying and drew them with their hands, and voila! I also listen to what they suggest, it helps a lot! We don't have videos of our practice, sorry. God bless!

I'm sorry, I did not understand your question. If you are asking about the black light, we used three long ones, one to each side and one in front. The room should be lights off completely. I hope this helps.

We have four hand mime vidoes, 1st is the Birth CTJFI, then this one, then an Easter presentation and the one that we did just this Christmas. I was very strict when it came down to costume, they used their mom's or their own black stockings, not the thick ones, just the thin ones, wherein they can breathe, otherwise they'll choke in it. black round neck or turtle neck long sleeves, black pants and black socks if they don't have black shoes, all black and no skin as much as possible.

We use them to hide the light's reflection on their eyes and teeth, sometimes they can't help themselves from laughing or eyes popping too wide =)

It really is not necessary, but it helps achieve the complete black background you need so all viewing eyes are concentrated on the hands only.
