thanks for posting this.............i really wanted to see this match............pete is amazing, still!!! at 37, he comes out and pushes the current top players in the world............amazing.
i agree, lol. i wonder how he would fare at the slams if he came out of retirement like Jordan did in basketball. i'm assuming he would do well since Roger said he still had it after he played him a couple times between 07 and 08.
hed get demolished. maybe he could win the first round but do you honestly think roger was trying at all in those exhibitions. sampras was outside the top ten when he retired after winning the us open and the score lines were like 7-6, 6-7, 7-6. tennis is just to competetive. dont forget how much sampras struggled at the end of his career.
You have got to be kidding me. Pete is 37 years old, and he got humiliated by Hewitt 8 years ago in the US Open, remember? Do you really think that Sampras has gotten better since that, after no training for tour matches, or do you still think that he would be ranked top 15 if he was playing today? You are incredibly ignorant.
@cj397 i agree completely.... we need more grass court tournemants as well, the season is too short. alot more variety and skill needed on a grass court.
I was in this exhibit match at Racquet Club, Memphis TN, Sampras lost but it's all about fun.

His serves still look like they are going very decided toward the target. Nice solid stroke. Some top 50 look way lesser good, no jokes.

must be great to be 6"1....lot of good balls to hit everythings at the waste lol

why? Justine Henin is only 5'3 and he made to number 1 rank and winning GS. Its up to your own focus and determination to play good.

He's probalby just lifting weights and hitting the ball to stay in shape, not running wind sprints like in his ATP days.

ya Federer wasn't trying in them because if they tried Federer would easily win straight sets

Pete wouldn't get 'demolished' he'd be better than Radek Stepanek who plays a similar but not as good game and is ranked 17
