@MetalMeLike hell yeah indeed. I started this program 3 weeks ago about to start fourth week. All my lifts have gone up in the range of 15 to 20 pounds bench. 30 lbs squat. I love it. Sore as heck though man!!
@steven288 yes 7sets of 4 actually he made a video saying that bench squat deadlift are 7x4 for 4 weeks. Then u go to 7x3 for 4 weeks. After each 4 week cycle u move up weight by 10%. And u start out at 70% of 1 rep max.
I've watched all 3 vids, and one thing I don't get is - where are the shoulders?? Cuz I know the bi's & tri's work along with the back/chest, but shoulders? Don't tell me he build them with just deadlift/squat/bench press.
Do u guys think this is a good workout if u want to build strength and some muscle??? I've only been lifting 4 months so please only helpfull comments.
@ediot6969 Yeah, this is nothing new. Which is good since it's tried and true. As long as you lift heavy and consistently and eat, you will get bigger and stronger.
@ediot696 hell yeah dude. you'll get some serious strength gains whilst packing on slabs of muscle. Compound movements + good form+ eat well+ go heavy= BEAST
I am starting this program as a novice lifter (2 months max and young) and slightly adjusting the power moves for 5 sets of 5 reps rather than 7 sets of 2.The bodybuilding moves stay the same though.
Can I do this if I have only trained for about 3 years? I am not a bodybuilder, just tired of doing 3 sets and 10 repetitions, i want to try something new and get stronger at the same time as i get bigger.

For many question that you ask, why only 3 exercise no hamstring? no calve? no side quad?
The answer is Wide-Stand deep-squat work fulfill all of these already
wider stand will work better for inner side quad and deeper will work a lot for your hamstring.
And many bodybuilder agree that wider and better than narrow.
Try wider stand with full squat or narrow with front squat.

I would substitute the leg extensions with leg curls to strengthen the posterior chain, but that is just me.
