I am Christian (Roman Catholic) and I have a deep respect for Islamic Civilization (I have been to a Mosque and recieved a Koran). Im a History Teacher and there is an activity that states to create a timeline of Mohammads life. I refrain my students from drawing Mohammad as it offends Islam. However, I have seen Islamic made images of Mohammad where his face is covered. Would depicting the prophet in this be offensive? I would appreciate a responce from a Muslim on this Thank you.

shame on me???you kidding me??? i did not make up what i said.its fact and history.read about his life.God did not speak to muhamed and muhamed did not make any miracles to proof the power of God.God spoke to Moses and performed His word by miracles and to other prophets too.but not to muhamed.how can you say that he is from God when God was not with him???all what muhamed did was just spreading the religion by the sword.and died in terrible head pain,(doesn't look to me that God was with him.)

you're not a real believer.you're just a person who want to show respect for a tradition and a culture that you want to be part of.
This apply to all so-called real believers (be them muslim, chatolics, buddhists etc).
Organized religions have nothing to do with spirituality and the mistery of existence.
You are a follower, and that's all.
You need to feel protect by traditions and your group of reference. This is all you aspire.
Same apply for all religions, cult, church followers.

He was not a prophet, sure, but he was a political leader (and really good at that).
Jesus wasn't even that, for that matter. His religion needed Saint Pau (Saulo, Pablo, call him as you like) in order to become what it is today.

first of all The Blessed Prophet Muhammad (salla allahu alaihi wa sallam)was NOT a terrorist. Secondly the Prophets (may the peace and blessings of Allah azza wa jall be upon all of them)did not only make prophecies, rather they taught humans the way to live the way Allah (azza wa jall)has commanded.You say that ALL Prophets came from Israel, this is also very incorrect,but those who did come from there taught the same thing as every other Prophet and Messenger appointed by Allah (azza wa jall)

A few points- 1. no Muslim army was ever dispatched to Indonesia, the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, nor to Malaysia, nor to the east coast of Africa, the continent with the largest percentage of Muslims in the world. 2. Christians and Jews enjoyed unprecedented freedom in Muslim lands-Spain for example, where Jews flourished until expelled by Christians in the 15th century. 3. Muhammad (SAWS)never killed anyone. Read any of his biographies. 4. ALL humans are from God.

Ok, If you say a Muhammad (may peace be upon to him) a killer, whould you say the same thing to prophet Moses (may peace be upon to him) when he defended children of Israel from Egyptian pagans, prophet Solomon (may peace be upon to him), prophet David (may peace be upon to him) who all fought against idolatery, paganism?
If you think muslims are terrorist, how can you dare to live in peace when there are over billions of them? Be a realistic.

Haven't you ever considered why only muslims respect all prophets, from Adam (may peace be upon to him) to Muhammad (may peace and blessings be upon to him). KenMacMillan - both killings and enslaving non-Muslims have nothing to do with Islam. Just think about it. Muslims ruled Spain for 800 years - tell me how many non-Muslims were killed and enslaved. As for Muhammad's marriage, let me remind you that in the Bible, you're allowed marriage to 3 years old & sexual intercourse with children under certain age is not a sin according to the Bible. Aishah had reached the age of puberty & it was common for people of that period to marry that young.

First and foremost Mohammed(peace and blessings be upon him, married Aisha(may Allah be pleased with her) because her farther insisted and also she was of puberty and gave her own consent. Second she loved him so much she asked to buried next to him. He was not unchaste like the majority so many of you!
