he looks like a little Secretariat. it's just a shame people are so awful to their animals. makes you wonder what this little one was thinking when he loaded up and heading for a better place.
Supposedly he would blow up if you tried to handle him. The entire trip back from Minnesota, e handled like a seasoned pro. You could see that he had been abused. He was skiddish, but I think the people were too. He jumped, they jumped and it got out of hand.
I know how that goes...people get a baby, and they don't know how to handle them when they act like a baby...so they get scared and the horse freaks out and everyone looses in the situation.
REINS stand for RESCUING EQUINES IN NEED of SAFETY. IT started from an equine forum and we find horses in need..one at a time. I drove to Minnesota for this little guy.....never will regret it.
What sort of stupid idiot would send a baby like this bloke to be killed??? Yep certainly looks vicious.....Not.....I had a brumby mare and she was evil...took a big bite out of my chest but even she came good with patience and TLC. Some people have NO idea........
Wow! What a beautiful colt. My little guy hadn't really been handled before I bought him either--it's amazing what a little love and patience can do. Good luck in the future. ☺
THERE'S OUR BOY!!! I was in tears seeing him getting his ears scratched...and running around the pasture! I am so proud of what we ALL did for him...another wonderful success story for R.E.I.N.S.!! He will always have a very special place in my heart!!! HUGS my friends...for helping to show that "killer" how loving humans really can be! THANK YOU!!!

nervous people + nervous horse = disaster, you see it all the time, them 'killer' horses are scared because you are scared. Cute little guy btw :)

He's just a little guy.
I can hardly believe this horse would intentionally kill someone.
He must have been skittish and his handlers didn't know how to work with the situation.

What is it that he did for them to want him to be killed????
Poor baby, glad he's in good hands.
