  • @laoniricArte1 You're right, excerpting this way and looking only at these powerhouse high notes doesn't do justice to the voice as a whole. Still, along with all the things you mention, it is always striking how easy and ringing Corelli's high notes were given the weight and size of his voice. Many voices of comparable size and color naturally sacrifice the upper extension. Again, excerpting this does injustice to some of Corelli's other striking qualities. But... These notes are godlike...
