I am trying to use the titler to create my subtitles for my videos. I want to be able to create a title and decide where it will be displayed on the window. I don't want to use the mouse as it gets hard to align it
Make your credits up in a separate sequence and place (drag) this new credits sequence in your video sequence, above your video in the timeline where you want it. Does this make any sense for you? Greets, Pierre.
slow and soothing voice and good tempo. exactly what a tutorial needs. I'm a newbie at premiere and I managed to do the things in the program while the video was running because of the tutorials patience :)
ppprod, is there a way to make screen capture video with camstudio and then edit in adobe premiere and have it play right? when I do this it jumps frames and some of the video is black
Wow, I did not understand, im a really beginner at this.. I bearly know how to make a new project.. And I can't find any tutrials where starts at there..Could you give me any tips of any kind? Or just some regualary step by step?:) Anyways, your english is fine :-) Loud and clearly I can hear every word, well thanks for making this video, im so dumb I can't make this :-(, if you would be deligt to help me,I really would priciate it. Thanks.
Great tutorial. Easy to follow along while watching. keep up the good work. Thanks for the free lessons. It's people like you that make the internet a great place.
Thank you for this excellent tutorial -- I was tearing my hair out trying to get rolling titles working as I struggle with the basics of Premier Pro. . . Very much appreciated!
Good question. For what I know: SV is high level but if you can afford it, PP is more pro and is easily linked with the other Adobe products (AE,Audition...) (I am an Adobe fan).
You've done a great job here. Thanks very much. The only thing I wonder is, how would you make your text scroll at an angle? Say for instance, like the Star Wars opening credits, which scroll in a certain shape. Any ideas?
A TV-screen image doesn't show the whole video image, and looses about 10 to 20% on the borders. Check the TV-sreen safety margins specialy for titles. On a big projection screen the video image is almost copletely used, but not on a normal TV. Thnx for watching. :-)
For me as also non-native speaker it was even easyer to understand you than the nativ speaker - though the wind in the background sounds pretty scarry.
More tutorials please!
(Question: Why can`t I do the dragging of the logo?)
I use Premiere Pro CS2. It's possible that Premiere Elements works the same way. Thnx for the support, but I think people should discover your channel.
Tnx man. I use a quite sensitive mic with a preampli (XLR) and what you hear in the background is the whowling wind through the frontdoor of my buisiness, and police headquarters are nearby as well. lol.
Very informative, Pierre. Thank you!

BrianViolence 4 years ago
Thank you Brian for the positive comment.
For the starwarslike scrolling title, you can see an example in my video: 'viva la revolucion', but this one was made within Casablanca.
However, in premiere, it is not so difficult to do. I'll make a tut when I have some time.
Just subscribe to be notified when it's done. Greets, Pierre.

To drag the logo into the timeline: just drag the ikon just in front of the name into place. Good luck.
