@alex2810motors Tks. In this video I was using the iMac internal DAC but now I have a TC Electronic Desktop Konnect 6 which make the speakers output a much better sound :)

Speakers + DAC price was around 550 euros

I am thinking about getting the 6s but I am worry about bass. How's the bass on these?

@ShooterJoe The bass is enough for me. It's tight and not overpowered like some common desktop speakers (logitech). Sure the 6s should have more bass, but in my opinion it doesn't justify the price difference.

@RSTube07 Thank you for your reply, I ended up getting the 6s in ferrari grey on sale. Have you considered a DAC? When I got one for my Late 2011 Macbook it made a world of difference. And it was a cheap little thing, not like a legit $500 DAC. I don't know if I should get thouse pads thou, they seem expensive for what they are.

@ShooterJoe Yes I ended up buying a TC Electronic Desktop Konnect 6 and TRS connectors. It makes a HUGE difference in sound quality and power. The pads were included in the package I bought. Never tried the rokits without the pads, so can't tell you if they are real useful

Rp5 sucks..I had them for over 2 years and I just got myself the rp6 version which have much and much more power, especially in the low frequencies! Buy the RP6 if you're not sure between rp5 and rp6

I use an XLR Y calbe to standard 3.5mm as well but for some reason my monitors have a grainy, digital, white noise . do you not have this problem as well?

@TheFunniestDude Yes, I gave up on the 3.5mm to XLR and now I'm using TRS to TRS balanced cables with a firewire audio interface. The rokits never souded better :D
