It's no use thanking the uploader...no amount of thanks could repay the happiness this video is generating...what a great teamwork of those singers & musicians!! And the way he refers to his songs..."We wrote the song..." 'we', not 'I'....modesty - the characteristic of a genius. The songs are beyond any description......I'll never tire of hearing them....such zest and feeling they inspire! Still makes our blood boil....the reporter was totally unnecessary - he is enough to introduce himself.

These TV talks are rare gems to be treasured by all Bengali music lovers. Salil Chowdhury, (the most versatile and talented composer/lyricist of the post Rabindranath period in my view and as acknowledged by no less a musical giant as Nausad) told us a brief history of IPTA, which was fascinating.The other surprise for me was the revealation that a super composer like Abhijeet Banerjee was trained by Salil. A treat indeed from Dr Q Islam.

Thank you for uploading this program often shown in Doordarshan but never recorded by anybody ! The soundtrack seems to have some noise though.

This program was quite important due to what Salilda talks about after roughly 26:00. It was great to hear Salilda. Abhijitda and Probirda though.
