I have 2 admit, the 1st time I was playing through this map I WAS a bit scared but at the same time, astonished by how the background music and the amb. sounds were combined to form this terrifying atmosphere in the 1st half of this level. Especially when the 'bitches' (lol) started this creepy semi-loud breathing at 1'35"(in this video)!
I love this map! But only the first half, the other half is just run & gun back to the elevator!
closest you can get to that would be to play Warhammer 40,000: Firewarrior though he doesn't use such a suit (not to mention I was told the game sucked)
they are wrong...i play doom and quake from the start of serial...and i can say only UT or Unreal isnt worth buying.
Quake and Doom are Art of FPS, UT or Unreal are just for kids, couse UT or Unreal have so much colours like RPG-s and they are to f*cking slow games, with stupid too big lvl design, and the new UT is just shit of all shits...Watch how pistols are moving when you shoot...it is parody xD

if you're referring to Doom 3, then well, this game doesn't rely too much on zombies popping up in dark places. less scares, more direct combat. (i prefer it this way...)
If you're refering to the original/first Doom, then uh... well, they're both first person shooters....
