How long can you stay underwater for? I can't even go underwater without using goggles to cover my eyes and nose. Especially my nose.
I can't hold my breath for long lol. About 30 seconds lol. If you're down there for long, how do you manage it? btw, you both look bloody stunning for your ages back then. I realise you're now grown up now.

The tails do look quite homemade now, I reluctantly agree. But back in 1989 we didn't have such great fabrics and the technology to make them any better! That's my excuse anyway. ;-) We also made then ourselves with a very limited budget.
Actually I still have my tail in a cupboard somewhere and am happy that even though it is nearly 20 years since this video was taken I can still fit into it!

No training, just love being underwater and have been playing as mermaids for most of my childhood. The other girl is fuzzylogic and we have been great friends since we were 11. We live far away from each other now but still chat and stuff online etc.

I used to go in the sea mermaid swimming and sit on rocks for the tourists, but now I live in the midlands uk, no outdoor swimming here that I have found anyway and swimming pools won't let you take things in like tails or cameras. My daughter is into mermaids and I will be making her a tail when she can swim better so both she and I can go swimming on holidays in the sea. I will take underwater shots and maybe film then. This is the only film of Heather and I that I know of.
