Loving all the class combos in this game. The combat system is nice too, but I seem to get flanked a lot. That's probably just because I'm unobservant.
Ok I live in the UK and everywhere ive looked says the release date is 10/02/2012, is this just for the EU or is there somewhere I can purchase this on the 7th? Thanks to anyone who can help.

I sold dark souls and skyrim just yesterday so I could pre-order this, I have no regrets lol I platinum'd dark souls and skyrim got extremely boring, how many times do I have to hear the same voice from multiple characters?
I've played the demo... I hope that they'll make last minute retouches... especially with the character creation... and I hope the they'll add an option for sex.
i have played the demo it has a very dragon age fable type play and the freedom to wander around the world doing quests and kicking ass when doing so and as for the graphics well i don't like to hore about graphics that much but they are amazing

This game may be a sleeper hit. Like how Arkham Asylum snuck up on everybody. A lot of people hadn't even heard of this until a couple of days/weeks ago and now here we are anticipating it. Not because of advertising but because of the Demo which we downloaded out of boredom. Long live demos.
I take back what i said before about no game ever coming close to as good as skyrim until elder scrolls 6... Halo 4 shows some promise since it wasnt made by bungie. But we shall see. Its halo so itll b good no matter what

if the combat is anything like Arkham City, then MAYBE.. otherwise I´ve seen this before- Health bars, chance to hit, chance to miss, chance to block, chance to find this and that, chance to score critical, chance chance chance! Unless a good Racing, RTS or FPS, games should be about the kind of combat you experience in Arkham A+C or Dark Messiah.
To be honest I hated the demo and was so bored that in the 45 minute free time i realised i had more fun killing the entire town than i would probably have in the entire game
i saw the Demo on PSN, downloaded it and played it 2 hrs straight. The graphics wasn't that good but its perfect for this classic RPG, and the combat system was just mind blowing. but i still wasn't convinced with all the bugs the demo had so i will wait for some reviews to pop up before buying this game.

My opinion of the game would be significantly higher if I didn't run into game-destroying bugs each time. The two times I have attempted to play through the demo, at some point all the dialogue cuts out, the music is out of sync, and even with subtitles on it completely skips all of them until I get to a dialogue choice (if there are any).
That said, however, Curt Schilling's statement this week about how that is not representative of the final build makes me feel better. Still buying day 1.
@Prae7orian BHG and 38 Studios did not want to release a demo, EA made them so they just gave the code to EA and said make a demo. And EA just haphazardly slapped bullshit together hense all the bugs.

I am excited but if experience has taught me anything it is to be heavily cynical of hyped game releases. Do I hope it is every bit as awesome as it has been made out to be? Hell yes. Alright, I love fantasy games, but why are the names always so generic?? And it looks like a typical fantasy game too. No offense to people who are fans of Kingdoms of Amalur. if the combat is anything like Arkham City, then MAYBE.. otherwise I´ve seen this before- Health bars, chance to hit, chance to miss, chance to block, chance to find this and that, chance to score critical, chance chance chance! Unless a good Racing, RTS or FPS, games should be about the kind of combat you experience in Arkham A+C or Dark Messiah.

To be honest I hated the demo and was so bored that in the 45 minute free time i realised i had more fun killing the entire town than i would probably have in the entire game

i saw the Demo on PSN, downloaded it and played it 2 hrs straight. The graphics wasn't that good but its perfect for this classic RPG, and the combat system was just mind blowing. but i still wasn't convinced with all the bugs the demo had so i will wait for some reviews to pop up before buying this game.

My opinion of the game would be significantly higher if I didn't run into game-destroying bugs each time. The two times I have attempted to play through the demo, at some point all the dialogue cuts out, the music is out of sync, and even with subtitles on it completely skips all of them until I get to a dialogue choice (if there are any).
That said, however, Curt Schilling's statement this week about how that is not representative of the final build makes me feel better. Still buying day 1.

@Prae7orian BHG and 38 Studios did not want to release a demo, EA made them so they just gave the code to EA and said make a demo. And EA just haphazardly slapped bullshit together hense all the bugs.

@TheTombo1990 That is what I am hoping but Developers lie, and EA definitely lies. The game looks awesome, I had fun with the demo. I am excited but if experience has taught me anything it is to be heavily cynical of hyped game releases. Do I hope it is every bit as awesome as it has been made out to be? Hell yes. Will I be disappointed if its not? Actually a little bit yes, because I thought we were so close to getting a good new IP to play.

Alright, I love fantasy games, but why are the names always so generic?? And it looks like a typical fantasy game too. No offense to people who are fans of Kingdoms of Amalur. @Shadowhero43 No multiplayer of any kind sadly. That is not to say they may not include it in a sequel if it warrants one. I would not expect a multiplayer DLC put in either. Too much trouble for ANY developer to do and do right.
