It is the value system that you cannot escape from that makes you think UG is petty and resentful. To use a UG line of logic, "you call me petty and resentful. You take the position that you consider only the most important things and are filled with enthusiasm. But if there was anyone that acted that was totally enthusiastic, they would never call anyone petty or resentful. If you take the position that you will become forever enthusiastic one day, you are just like the hypocrites. Good luck

If you listen to UG or Osho...you won't waste your time hoping to become enlightened following someone.

Does this mean that a person who does not follow anybody can become enlightened? I don't think so... The ideal of enlightenment is a mental construction, an empty concept without any base in reality, that's passed from one person onto another, like a disease. What we seek we will never find.

of the mind (ego), which is a myth.

Depends what you mean by enlightment. If you have filled your mind full of crap, then you could realise that and become enlightened to that fact. But enlightenment in so far as there being something beyond the comprehension of the human mind is nonsense.
