With 1000hp going to two wheels in a car as light as a Ford GT, you're going to have traction problems, especially off the line. Once you get going and the wheels hook up, it's hard to find any car that could beat it.

Catch up with reality, and you'll learn that the record holders of the Texas Mile is a UR Lamborghini (250mph), and the Miami Mile is a Ford GT TT (252mph). The record GTR is 205mph, while the record CAMARO is 244mph. Record Supra is 246mph.

Yeah, that GTR got owned for sure if that GT is in-fact modded by heffner performance. The GTRs have the ability to pull off some amazing hole shots, but 1000 bhp to like 480 bhp = no chance :) It sounded REALLY nice though :)

The car is only half of the equation level the field for a real head to head comparison. Swap drivers and give them equal track time in both vehicles similar to Top Gear or Road&Track, best 3 out of 5 runs that's what we'd all like to see.

Yeah it did. Watch the race between this GT and the LP 640. Same result. Lambo jumped the start, and got out in front pretty good, but the Ford GT ran it down.

Doesn't the GTR have All Wheel Drive ? If it does, that is the" ONLY "reason it too the Ford GT from the hole. I couldn't see, but, I would bet that the Ford GT caught up with , and passed the Nissan further down the track...

Yeah I believe the GT Took the GTR too. The ONLY Reason the Nissan took the GT in the beginning is because it has AWD. This allows the driver of it to be able to stand on the GAS right from the start. The GT had to feather the gas until it was moving.

The car is only half of the equation level the field for a real head to head comparison. Swap drivers and give them equal track time in both vehicles similar to Top Gear or Road&Track, best 3 out of 5 runs that's what we'd all like to see.

@iThrowback I understand they claim its a 1000 rwhp i would need to see the dyno proof myself to believe it, that doesn't mean i'm saying its not built some because its obvious that it is. But when you look at the fact that its a mid-engine rwd car close to 50 percent of the weight is on the rear tires there is no excuse why the driver couldn't have feathered the clutch some and launched with atleast another 1000 to 1500 rpm

I agree, the Nissan sounds like shit; just like a 350Z/370Z; like a mosquito gone mad. The Ford GT at that thing up; just AWD launch from GTR was the only time it had the lead before it was run down.

Yeah it did. Watch the race between this GT and the LP 640. Same result. Lambo jumped the start, and got out in front pretty good, but the Ford GT ran it down.

But as you can see the GTR didn't have a good launch. The Ford had a much better launch. Now after 30 feet or so the GTR took the lead.

Doesn't the GTR have All Wheel Drive ? If it does, that is the" ONLY "reason it too the Ford GT from the hole. I couldn't see, but, I would bet that the Ford GT caught up with , and passed the Nissan further down the track...

Yeah I believe the GT Took the GTR too. The ONLY Reason the Nissan took the GT in the beginning is because it has AWD. This allows the driver of it to be able to stand on the GAS right from the start. The GT had to feather the gas until it was moving.

It can any many have their boost set up rite.
350 hp is all a GT new to reach its stock 0 to 60mph
3.7 or 3.3 sec
So about 480 hp of the line should be good for a 2.9 sec pass.
Would i have found is that many TT GT just put down way to much power of the line and this makes it hard for the driver to get it rite.
Some GT builders got it rite and i ever saw a 7.80 hp GT ran average of 215mph and 227 mph repeatedly
And a 10.4 sec pass for each run 1/4 at 144 mph
