  • I learned most of what I know in knitting with your videos. I am so accustomed to the sound of your voice and words, I feel I know you. Thank you, you are wonderful.

  • wow i luv it

  • Beautiful stitch. Love your accent. Can someone tell me how to increase and decrease in this stitch and how to fix the mistakes.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this with me! I really love the stich and your instruction was really clear! Your awesome and I love your voice!

  • Tooo faaassssttt

  • Thank you for refreshing my memory of this stitch and it is easier than the one I learnt over 38 years ago and had forgotten. Since then I have been searching and trying to get the right stitch but without success until I saw your video. I like the double layer look of this pattern. Thank you very much again for sharing.

  • Nice stitch and video, thanks for sharing. Why do you knit the first stitch of each row?

  • Thank you so much, I could clearly see how you made each stitch. Will be trying this pattern right away.

  • Very nice stitch, and the video is easy enough to follow. I'll give it a try.

  • very beautiful!

  • @abberz3589 I'm sure there are plenty of videos for your skill level if you're having trouble. I can see quite clearly, and it seems others who don't choose to be rude to someone trying to share their knowledge can see it clearly as well.

  • @abberz3589 Why so rude and unappreciative? I tried this once and got it right away. I think that you should be a little less insulting and a maybe a little more proficent at knitting!

  • Super work!!! Good lesson!! Thanks for shearing.

  • very good:)

  • Very interesting! I'll have to try this. You made it look very easy. :)

  • Excellent video!! very clear directions, very clear camera image, very steady camera! Thank you so much!

  • Thank you.

  • Thanks for this lovely pattern :) It's very clear

  • Thank you for letting us see this lovely stitch. I usually just do plain knitting but maybe I could even manage this. It's lovely. Morag Walker Dundee Scotland

  • Lovely.

  • Oh, in Spanish is called "punto panal"

  • Nevermind she is definitely German, looked at one of her other videos where it is definitely German but she is knitting in the Russian Style

  • Well I am going to guess that she is Russian because of the style of knitting that she is doing. It is a russian way she is holding the needles and creating her stitches. Even the name of the stitch sounds russian

  • Thank you...Well done!!

  • Love this stitch it is so beautiful.thanks for making this video.

    Yoka

  • Very nice accent. Are you German lady?

    Thanks for your video.

  • Me gustaría mucho en idioma español. GrACIAS

Saludos

  • Respond to this video... There is another easier way to do this stitch. Is very similar and is called also Honeycomb, but I don't think is the Brioche. The odd number rows you knit them the same way, but the even number rows you knit them all straight. "Esperosas" in Youtube teaches it. It is in Spanish, but the images are very good. Hope this helps someone.

  • I did exactly what I believe seing you do on a needle #8 with 10 stitches casted after 3 rows of purl, then- 1row) 2 knit, 1kdeep, 1k, 1kd, 1k, 1kd, 1k, 1kd, 1k. ...... 2r)2k, 1k under the yarn like you did show, 1k, 1ku,1k ,1ku.... to the end ...... 3r)1k, 1kd,1k, 1kd,1k...... 4r) like row 2, 1k, 1ku, 1k.... Then I repeated it all 3 times for a total of 12 rows. It does not look one bit like the final picture shown after your tutorial. Did I make a mistake? i am sad. Thank you anyway

  • @anteabuel On the wrong side/row 2 you work the "1ku" on the same stitch that you previously worked "1kd". From your description you worked these on the plain knit stitches.

Also, brioche stitches are much less dense, so how it looks depends on the needle size in proportion to the yarn weight you are using. For example, if you want your brioche to have roughly the same gauge as some stockinette, you need to go down in needle size.

  • Too many stitches on the needle, it makes the knitting too fast. Though it was well shown where to pick the yarn, a slower and less stitches would make this clearer. I have search for this teaching "honeycomb brioche" for years. So thank you so much.

  • the term is knit one below

on knitting patterns its abbreviation is K1b

  • Thank you so much for demonstrating this lovely stitch! I am new to Brioche knitting and am curious to know which cast-on used and set up row pattern. Thanks again!

  • Thank you eliZZZa for teaching us how to knit this nice stich!

  • Pretty stitch and video was clear to follow.

  • I like this stitch

  • Beautiful stitch, looks easy. Thank you for your tutorials.
