  • To say the sun does not operate on energy from an outside source, is equivalent to saying the air moves itself to create wind. If you cannot replicate how you say something is operating. Then you cannot prove that's how it operates.

Radioactive materials do not decrease in mass over time. So the scientists are claiming you can get something from nothing. Only insane people believe it's possible to get something from nothing.

    PHD=BS

  • Hey there! Have you tried the intellitus cash system (do a search on google)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my friend made tons of money with it.

  • Wind turbine noises make you sick

  • Solar, Wind and Bio are NOT green, they require huge amounts of materials and land. They are expensive and unreliable. Expensive wind, solar energy will put it out of the reach of MORE people.

One ton of thorium can replace 2,500,000 tons of coal and 7,000,000 tons of coal. Google energy from thorium.

  • @bogusnachos

Thorium is NOT renewable, which this video is about....

  • @TheSaltyAdmiral The sun doesn't run of renewable energy, it fuses hydrogen into helium. The earth's heat (geothermal) is generated by radioactive decay which is not renewable. Thorium is inexhaustible for any practical purpose. Thorium can solve man's energy problems for the next 100,000 years, I think that would be good enough.

  • Renewable energy is the way of the future, and has huge business potential. We are creating leaders in the field of green energy every day. If you have the spirit and mindset to get out in the world and educate people about renewable energy, you have unlimited potential in this field.

    Find me @fundgreenpower on twitter

  • I am optimistic that one day solar, wind tidal will become advanced and affordable to replace Oil, coal.

people say natural gas and nuclear are better alternatives then oil and coal, I agree, but they still are far from green. the explosion in Japan brought my attention, and natural gas still isnt clean enough, although still better then oil, coal.

  • renewables will one day be cheep enough to the point at which they will be for everybody.

as technology advances on average their prices drop.

back in 2002 a big flat plasma screen tv costed maybe 1.6-2k USD. now i went i can buy a bigger TV for much less then 1.5k. lets look at the price of cars from when they were invented to now. today we see many people driving them, nothing unusual, lots of cars in here, in china, and elsewhere. but once before they were only for the rich.

  • The only reason first world country's have a high standard of living is cheap, reliable market free energy. A revolution is taking place in China as they are becoming a free market society. They are able to bring wealth to their people by providing cost effective, efficient and clean coal plants and building refineries. Before that they looked like the people in the Greenpeace photos of this video. Greenpeace, lol. Renewables are for rich people, installed cost +$2000/kw and not reliable.

  • John R. Christy has been accused of recanting his position that climate change is neither Anthropogenic nor Catastrophic, but he didn’t. He used two independent data sets, weather balloon and satellite for his findings. (see links in my about me) Later he only stated that there was some anthropogenic impact that could not be predicted 100 years out, but that what we’re doing was good for the plants.

  • 2/2 watch?v=bgKr480RYc4 Obama's Former Green Jobs Czar and Communist, Van Jones

Admits Left is 'PRETENDING' Need for Regulations in Green Movement

  • 1 /2 Obama stop offshore drilling until it was reinstated. This could cause a $5 a gallon increase, because we would grow dependent upon foreign nations we are not allies with in order to provide our oil. Cap and Trade (American Power Act) would increase gas prices increase by $2.58 a gallon according to George C. Marshall Institute& taxes on the average household up to $3200 according to the RNC Foreign countries price gouge w/ gas prices to $10/gal!.

  • The images of the destruction that we are bringing down upon Mother Earth are reasons to stop, think, and act.

  • Nuclear power plants are not reliable, they are very expensive to build and use uranium 238 once all the uranium is dug up from the ground there is no more energy produced.

  • We need more Nuclear Power a safe, clean energy source.

  • We do not need anymore nuclear.

We Have much safer ways to create energy.

  • On the scale required for an industrialize nation without nuclear only coal can meet the demands of the baseload. Though I do support more renewable energy it along with conservation will not be enough. There are new ways to use nuclear such as the 4th gen reactors IFR and LFTR that solve nearly all our energy needs.

  • @Darkwizzrobe LFTR (Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactor) is absolutely the best technology to replace dinosauce(tm) ;) until solar/wind/geo-hydro can meet the need. Adjusting civilization to the demand is part and parcel.

  • do you have any idea how many wind turbines fit in the production of one nuclear power plant?

The only problem is the nuclear waste, we need some kind of bacteria who eats the nuclear waste then we're in the green :)

  • NO IMAGES OF HYDRO....WHY?

  • To sort out the world climate, mill the polar ice caps in the sea.

  • Nice video,..nice music...who's the artist playng

  • We need to start driving fuel cell cars, trucks and buses. They r 100% clean, and to make the fuel for them is also 100% pollution free and would be an endless supply..

  • I love greenpeace videos. They're so over-the-top, but very optimistic. Very misleading too, but still cute.

  • This video sucks.

  • Take a look at yourself. Yes, you. Have you made peace with the Earth?

  • The earth keeps trying to kill me sorry I'll make no peace.

  • Nuclear fusion cuts CO2 by 100%, and your kettle does it as it boils!

  • CO2 goes up and down with season and plant growth. So it is higher in an ice age! It follows the climate, the 0.00037% has no effect on the weather. More CO2, more life on Earth. More nuclear plants, more death on Earth!

  • go nuclear its the best. Windturbines will pay for themselves after 25 years ( 20 year life span) only if they require no maintance, but the problem is they have to be maintained every 6 weeks - wake up its a no brainer!

  • If that was true why are so many people switching to wind energy? Company's wouldn't be building wind mills if it was not profitable.

I think your mixed up with solar. Solar takes 10-20 years to pay off but lasts much longer than 25 years.

  • no whisker i work from an environmetal firm - it grants that drive it and questionable science i know i hav to service the offshore wind farms for a living

  • Wiskers, Wind is certainly good here in Washington. Wild Horse is bringing us electricity at $45-55 per MWh, about half of the cost of nuclear power and less than hydro at $65 per MWh, which is our mainstay. We've seen capacity factors as high as 75% since the 127 turbines have been in operation.

  • Man I love nuclear! ...when it comes from 93 million miles away.

  • Yea!!!... I especially like natural fusion from 93 million miles away.

  • Where do you get your numbers from??? Big, dirty nukes require a huge crew on hand to run and maintain them 24x7. Many of the dirty nukes have barely made it to 20 years. You are the one that needs to wake up.

  • Don't believe Greenpiss's lies. Eco-whachos claim to be for renewable energy but then they attack them when they become viable. They protested a geothermal plant in Hawaii and wind turbines in New England. It's bait and switch for these bastards. DEATH TO GREENPEACE AND DEATH TO THEIR CAUSES!!!

  • @willbooth -spitfires are long gone-:

Don't forget Hoessein is placed there by the CIA. Europe said that a political solution would evoid a lot of violence AND 'a lot of violence' is what happened, thanks to USA and UK. You get what you give: if you interfere with violence, people start fighting for the remaining bits.

If you interfere with dialog, there is a possibility nothing gets destroyed and enough is left for everyone.

  • Then people will die anyways, but at least we did not leave a disgusting planet as it could be, I think it really doesn't matter if they build enough wind generators or not if the people are still in that kind of conciousness, We'll end up destroying everything anyways.

  • listen dude, im not going to argue with you. and yeah im a "yank." Way to call 'em rag heads. You must be very educated. I think your wrong, thats that. I think the information I have been given is fact, and I trust my sources. I think we are better off trying to do something about it, rather than sitting back and watching.

  • I dont know where you come from bro, or if you know the facts of global warming and what is going on right now, but we cant just let the world fall apart because of a possible few shipping accidents and property values... try selling those houses when they are underwater in 10 years.

  • Not only that, but I think your shipping argument is shot... because if you are qualified to navigate a ship, then you should know how to stear clear of windmills. You say that wind turbines are ugly, and I dont agree.

  • Also, 90% of mass residents are pro wind energy, its just the selfish wealthy people that have a problem. I personally think that if wind farms are going to keep global warming under controll, and ultimatly clean our air and possibly stop WARS then these people should be thanking us for saving their homes from being underwater.

  • okay well. I actually work for greenpeace, so part of my ob is to be constantly informed. And of course because I work there, my opinions are going to be biased. I dont know if by "dumping them in the sea" you are talking about cape wind... because they are going to be so far off shore that they are going to look similar to a poland spring water bottle, on a clear day, standing on the coast.

  • Great job getting this out there. Did you know that cape wind, the new wind farm greenpeace is having built off of nantucket will produce more energy than a neuclear power plant with a little over 115 wind turbines, thats enough energy to power over 150,000 homes.

  • i dont know where you get your information from, but, you are actually wrong, it takes about 115 wind turbines to provide the same amount of enery as a neuclear power plant, thats 150,000 homes running on clean renewable energy and that's not even at full tilt. At full tilt they can poewr up to 400,000 homes. You should really get your facts straight. I assume you have no children to think of, or family at war, when you laugh at renuable energy.

  • i think the biggest problem is ppl's being uneducated...especially suburbs....they are building illegal houses in turkey and they are just making babies and getting crowded ..thats all...and other side ,rich people have rezidents or big villages ..so their lands were full of trees ....useless ppl..anyway i think that the earth comes to an end...we are lost :( !

  • keep up the good work.
