This sketch is really a message. It's trying to teach us a life lesson. It's trying to tell us to get off our butts, stop hoping that other people will save us and get us the right greeting card/video/ice cream/pet/girlfriend despite our blind insistence on doing the most expedient easy thing. We secretly have power, but we're pretending we're powerless so others will take care of us, but then we get mad when they do. I love this sketch.

I'm not an English native, but I know he says "whippee": the word comes from "to whip" or from "whipped cream". It's a kind of soft ice-cream, actually. (I assume you had guessed it...)
