if you set it to opt zoom does the digi zoom combine to opt zoom to make more than 26x zoom?

i have the same problem, i have optical zoom in camera mode, but when i m recording, its just not gr8, i have tried settings , i changes it to optical, and then to digital still i can't get that zoom while capturing a video,

it is wonderful digital camera..

provides me awesome still picture capturing experience.

I took it with me to velly of flower here in India ,

and gave me nice result .Video quality is also good gives some sound during the recording that is due to the moment of stepper motor.

i have brought this camera and i wish to record the video with optical zoom in the same way what ur doing here,,,
