Jesus christ.. this is incredible! I can't believe how fast you're doing this xD! 4 minutes in and you've already got the Rubayat. Any idea how you can get this game running on a 64 bit version of Win7?

I wish I still had a copy of this game. The Graphics were Way ahead of it's time. In fact, the Discovery Channel has used some of the scenes in this game numerous times for Documentaries.

SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!! I absolutely love this game, and would love to replay it, but everytime I put the disc in, it gives me the old "this version is not compatible with the 64bit blah blah" HOW CAN I MAKE THIS GAME WORK ON MY WINDOWS 7, 64BIT COMPUTER?!

I think you have to right click the Game icon and select "Run in Windows 98 Format".

@jgame99 You have to download a virtual machine, then load a copy of Windows 95 or 98 into the virutal machine. I'm getting ready to do the same thing. I have this game running on my old Windows Vista 32-bit in compatibility mode.

@feastsinmalta You have all the time you want until the 15th (after the iceburg strike), but after that, the game runs in real and "accelerated" time.

@Jonesmayes hahah totally. the music outside of Penny Pringles room is really creepy. A while ago I was reading someplace that some players of this game thought the game itself was haunted. Weird shit happened in their lives and they connected it to this game! It was creepy as heck....

Wow, I remember this game. Played it when I was younger, didn't understand a bit of what was going on. I barely remembered what it looked like until now. Nicely rendered scenes, and the inclusion of the shots from the submerged titanic were interesting in the hybrid version of the game, even if they did scare the crap out of me then.

'm guessing you have XP. I tried this game on my step dad's WIndow's 2000 desktop and the game fucked up some of the visual settings of the interface. Does it do that with XP? If so, How Do I avoid this problem?

@alli080808 I'd recommened using a VirtualBox to run it. I have my old Windows 2000 CD and just used VirtualBox to install it as an Virtual OS. The game runs flawlessly on it. I'd check it out if you're still interesting in playing it.

i played this when i was really young...never figured out how to beat it but i had a lot of fun exploring the ship and talking to everyone. The music was also really haunting and went well with the dimly lit areas.

Yeah, same here, Windows Vista is too good for this game, you need like Windows 98 to run it, or try to run it in a different compatibility mode but that doesn't really help I think. The only way to play it properly is on a windows 98 or maybe a XP computer :o

You don't even have to beat Haderlitz at fencing. All you have to do is play him once and let him win, then leave. Find Smethells and he will give you the ring instead. It's MUCH faster that way.

the best adventure game i've ever played (besides the myst series) was "Dark Side of the Moon"... by Southpeak Interactive. if you can find it, or if you have and played it. i would love to see your speedrun of it. haha.
