The guy on the floor was obviously being a twat and had to be restrained to some degree-but those cops went way over the top. Punching someone on the ground is just being violent for the sake of it. It looks like these cops are from the firearms unit, so it's likely that there's a good reason for them to have become involved. I think he just wanted to exert power of him, maybe that's one of the reasons why he's in the police force. Makes you wonder why some join the police doesn't it? Also they have found that people suffering mental illness have become far worse once coming into contact with the police, they think they can get away with it these types. History teaches some good lessons too, look at ' Bedlam ' inmates.

I came across some info that some Police Officers have left the police force because of what they termed ' Thug police ' i am really beginning to suspect that the authorities want people to go against the police, and for the police to be against people, it doesn't help that thugs who join the police force play this game, as it's working a treat. At one time police that had tattoos were not allowed to join the police force & psychological screening has gone to the dogs. Wonder who it is?

@basilconscious The cop was punching the main muscle group in his arm which is effectively a "dead arm" so that cuffs can be put on. It looks like these cops are from the firearms unit, so it's likely that there's a good reason for them to have become involved. I don't know the full story, but neither does anyone else judging from the comments. Full facts would be nice.

So we've no idea exactly what he's done, and whether or not he's been fighting before the video started rolling. In this video you only see one side of the story. What you see in your town are different incidents and different officers. You can't link the two. I merely said we should know the facts.
