I've been watching this movie with my nieces a lot lately. And this song... I'd like to hear the Cutie Mark Crusaders sing this one. Well.. Sweetie Belle, anyway. ;) If not for this series, FIM might never have existed. I know a lot of you younger bronies are quick to dismiss this series, but for this pegasister/Equestria girl, G1 still holds power for me. And I like seeing the shadows of this in the current generation. But the new generation is a heck of a lot of fun and I can love both.

@ZeroApproval19 if this if your first time (or one of your first times) watching the MLP show (80's version) then don't judge it by this, yes this song is terrible, the voice actress for Baby Lickety Split was horrible and makes you want to drag your nails down a blackboard since that would sound SO much better BUT the actual show isn't THAT bad, in my opinion, its on par with gen 4 just a bit more 'modern', but yes, this IS a bad thing to judte the original series on.

Is it bad that I laughed at the comments in the MLP: The Movie Part 1 video that were along the lines of:

I never noticed how weird it was that only one of the ponies was from New York when I was a kid. Then again, that may be because when I was a kid, I had a terrible accent like this too. :P
@SaiyanLady The toyline has remained profitable all this time. The last show they made (G3, G3.5) was horribly made.
Yet the newest series is High Fantasy with mythos, and features women as business owners and adults with flaws and dreams. It's feminist in the RIGHT way: it appeals to men because of its high quality.
Putting down a horse is a heartbreaking experience, especially if you've formed an emotional bond with him/her.
However, if I was forced to put down THIS horse (if you can even call her that), I don't think I'd feel sad to see her go. Especially if it means no more of that god-awful singing voice of hers.

Ha. I remember, this was like THE MOVIE of my early childhood. Watching it now, it isn't the song or the lyrics, even the names that remind me of watching way back then, but the particular feelings I had in each scene. Like, the impression I got. Ha. I remember, this was like THE MOVIE of my early childhood. Watching it now, it isn't the song or the lyrics, even the names that remind me of watching way back then, but the particular feelings I had in each scene. Like, the impression I got. I couldn't have been more than six years old when I first watched it. Amazing.

I have no idea when this was made, but my parents owned a video store and this was one of the moves I watched NON stop when I was like 2 or 3 and I remeber this part soooooo well. I feel old...im 14 now..
