ahh...the days when dangerous race cars were filled to the brim with nitroglycerine. I admittedly wasn't around during Atari's hayday. I started with the NES. But, I respect the classics, and I have played the arcade version of Pole Position. At one time, when I was maybe 5 years old, I saw a game system at a garage sale that was an Atari, and being that I remember it being all black, I think it must've been the Atari 2600 Jr which came out about the same time as the 7200.

then when you do a start from a christmas tree how come jerks are already on the track it makes no sense

but there is options you can select your amount of roadhog jerks then you hit reset then the star you can select practice,malibu,atari then namco(extreme amount of annoying jerk drivers)

Yes, as the 400/800, the 600/800/1200XL, the 65/130XE and the XE-GS all share the same hardware as the 5200.

The 5200 was a atari 800 computer without the keyboard. they did change some memory addesses so the computer games couldn't work. So yes, it is.

I'm 25 my dad and I used to play atari and most of the old classics back in the day growing up. He has virtually everything. Still love Vectrex the best. He pretty much gave me most of his retro stuff when I moved out still love the stuff to this day. Going by that other guys logic guess we can't watch star wars either since I'm pretty sure most people here weren't old enough to even go see the movie if they were alive. A game is timeless anybody can love it no matter if they're 8 or 84.

exactly, as a person who owns both systems, I love gt5 prologue and gt3 and 4, i played the carerr mode on forza and all it is is just upgrading the BHP on the cars. Its not as real in the driving either.
