I appreciate your concern for our safety but we accept the danger as part of doing our jobs. they say no risk, no reward. Our reward will come in time when the afghan youth of today are educated in their own ways and can find better ways to survive. My favourite thing about the Canadian forces is how professional they act on the battlefield. They make me proud to be American and they have built Canada ALOT of respect by doing what they have done in Afghanistan. GOD BLESS THE TROOPS. You make us proud!

I appreciate your concern for our safety but we accept the danger as part of doing our jobs. they say no risk, no reward. Our reward will come in time when the afghan youth of today are educated in their own ways and can find better ways to survive. We are trying to nurse a nation back to health after 30 years of invasion and civil war but I have the utmost confidence in my commrades and our ability to complete this mission.

actualy, the UN did approve, most people keep confusing afghanistan with Iraq. Afghanistan is a joint NATO/UN mission cooperating to achieve a common goal. yes there may be 40 countries involved but so many are under funded and ill equiped that they tend to stay close to major bases and can not patrol. Canada has the ability to go were we need and do what we must to help. If we leave then it will be a massive blow to the coalition and may result in failure.
