  • with LEGO, nothing is impossible :D

  • Охуенно!! Гениально!! Шикарно!!

  • First Class!! :)

  • he used an eastshit

  • I can solve a 4x4 faster than that! But very impressive, I wish I was skilled enough with electronics to build software to solve 3D puzzles.

  • @Scrallex thanks. This was my first attempt at a solver for puzzles larger than the standard 3x3x3 cube. The later "MultiCuber" design is somewhat faster.

  • whats the song?

  • show off

  • Looks as if the cube is dancing! :D

  • howd you make that?

  • AMAZING!!!

  • cubestormer is way faster

  • @RBeanland but can it solve a 4x4x4 cube? ;-)

  • so sick . i wannna job at ARM except i,m useless with comps hehehe

  • @originzunknown you don't need a job at ARM to do this.... I did this all in my "spare" time! ;-)

  • Love how it follows the rythm in the music.

  • Cool, but even cooler if another LEGO design and program another LEGO to resoulve the Cube :)

  • WOW its a perfect Roboter.

  • the video, its just reversed

  • horreeshit.

  • This is cool

  • oh my goood o.O

  • idk whats cooler, the machine or that they found a song to match the beat of the machine solving it as 10x speed

  • That robot looks similar to Nintendo's ROB lol

  • @magnetohydrodynamics I think its the Radio Vocal Edit version. However the version with RANK1 vs Dutchforce Remix sounds really cool.

  • perfect music

  • Has anybody found what remix of Airwave is playing?

  • repeating the question: what song is this?

@ThatRicanKid97 that is not tiesto's adagio for strings for sure

I'm really curious what this tune is

  • @kenatube42 replying to myself -- after checking it is clearly Rank 1 - Airwave remixed...

  • @kenatube42 I think everyone by now has gathered that much, we just have to find out exactly which remix it is.

@helmet0528 The Airwave vocal release labled Breathing? Afraid not, I checked it out.

    @ThatRicanKid97 What.

  • man people are getting desperate to solve a rubiks cube

  • I must ask what everyone else is asking...Will someone please tell us what song this is?

  • @sladikk I think it's Adagio For strings by Tiesto

  • what song is this?

  • Today, it solves a Rubik's Cube... tomorrow it tries to overthrow us and create clones of itself... be afraid, the end is nigh

  • Can you make it make scrambled eggs?

  • *_______________*

  • I'm sure it blends.

  • Watching this video, I became more interested in the fact that the lego creation is in time with the music at 10x speed than I was in the rubix cube solving.

  • So terminator will be build from Lego?

  • Cool. Now do it in Minecraft.

  • This is pretty awesome.. just sayin

  • Ok very nice!.. Now do something useful with ur talent and time!

  • @rufftuffBG thanks!...This is just stuff I do for fun in my spare time! ;-)

  • I reeeeeeaaaaaaally want one for no apparent reason other than its awesomeness

  • @ghabmasters94 yeah, me too. actually, who wouldn't?

  • This would be epic for me, sadly its uploaded with the most shitty type of music ever :(

  • I, for one, welcome our Robot Overlords.

  • And yet a human can do this in 32 seconds :)

  • @DrBjamin a 4x4x4? I dont think so

  • @zemond 4x4x4 fastest time: 30.88 sec, Feliks Zemdegs (Australia), Melbourne Winter Open, 25 June 2011

    The video is on youtube

  • @zemond Sigh.. sometimes I wonder if EVERYONE in the world hasn't become just a complete blithering idiot. Would it have been so incredibly hard for you to fucking Google that info BEFORE you opened your big fat mouth? 30.88 seconds dumbass... look it up

  • music?

  • ... How was it done? So that I can give my 9year old brother the required bits and some instructions. He would build this! And love it forever!

  • So I've read through the comments, as I am also greatly interested in the track used for the video, and the census based on others as well as my own observations have come to the conclusion that this is *a* remix of Rank 1 - Airwave. *A* remix in a swathe of about *60* OTHER REMIXES of the same song. I wish to know exactly which remix it is, the help would be greatly appreciated.

  • I don't even want to imagine how much programing went into that! Also, this video makes sigh in relief that i'm not the only one who still uses a Nokia N95 in the age of the iphone/android.

  • @dragossh sorry to disappoint you but I created this robot over a year ago and have since switched to Android.... have a look at some of the later videos on ARMflix and on my channel if you are interested ;-)

  • what sorcery of programing is that?

  • Will it blend?

  • WHO DISLIKES THINGS LIKE THAT?

  • but, will it blender?

  • does it develop its own algorithms or use the generic ones?

  • @darthjeff3 it is programmed with an algorithm that I developed as an extension to the way I solve the 4x4x4 cube myself. I believe the order in which the pieces are solved is slightly different from most human solutions and results in a far shorter sequence of moves. Since this robot was created I have enhanced the algorithm to solve arbitrary size cubes and used it in my "MultiCuber" series of robots that can solve cubes from 2x2x2 all the way up to the 7x7x7 V-CUBE 7 :-)

  • @IAssemble i imagine the V-Cube was a challenge due to its its roundish shape! and i can see you developing a new algorithm because if you used the average algorithm it would take forever to solve it!

  • @darthjeff3 yes, the curved faces of the V-CUBE 7 did provide a few challenges! The video of MultiCuber 777 demonstrates a solve in about 38 minutes in what I recall was a little under 500 moves.

  • This Is EPIC!!!1

  • Song please? need for hardtrance shuffle :D

  • You sir, have won internets.

  • this is soo clubin'

  • Very cool! All of my friends saw that too.

  • dancing with my cube yeah baby, rubiks cube.. (rubiks cube...) rubiks cube yeah baby

  • I'm speechless

  • i need that its beast

  • @extremehardyz123 you think this is a beast... but have you seen "MultiCuber 777" and "Megaminxer" on the ARMflix channel? ;-)

  • Build one that peels the stickers off ;).

  • I like how at one point the robot was on beat with the music lol anyway incredible

  • So COOL!

  • technology nowadays...

btw, what is the background music named?

  • Looks like an eastsheen 4x4 cube

  • Goddamn whats the song?? I know thats "Rank 1 - Airwave", but its over9000 remixes on it! And wich of them in that video?

Sorry for my bad english pls

  • BULLSHIT. It's using a human method. There's someone controlling it.

  • @LNOL - why shouldn't it be using a software algorithm that looks like a "human method"? Actually, I believe the order in which it solves the face centres and edges isn't like most human methods :-)

  • @IAssemble I am a speedcuber. Most humans solve face centers and then edges. And brute force algorithms are much more efficient.

  • @LNOL - I am not a speedcuber, but I do design LEGO solvers :-) I believe that most humans solve all the centres then all the edges? This algorithm solves face centres and edges in the following order: 2 faces, 1 edge, 1 face, 2 edges, 1 face, 2 edges, 2 faces, 7 edges... I suspect it may be possible to write algorithms to solve the 4x4x4 cube in fewer moves but I've only looked at more efficient software solutions for the 3x3x3 cubes so far.

  • @LNOL BTW the phone display at 0:31 shows the total number of moves is 109 for this scramble which I recall is about average for this algorithm. Is this about the same number you take to solve a 4x4x4 cube?

  • I think the song is

    DJ DeeKline - 4x4x4 Remixes

Thanks to Windows Media Player and Free YouTube to MP3 Converter

  • holy crap... i want one!

  • @MyCH33S3 have you seen the "ARM Powered Android LEGO MultiCuber 777" too?!? ;-)

  • 18 people made a mindstorm thing or robot lego thing and then putted rubix cugbe there and then later later the rubix cube broke and lego thing exploded

  • its solving it in time with the music !!!!!!

  • wow verry nice

  • wow

    that was awesome

    AAAAAAAAWWWWWWWEEEEEEEESSSSSSSOOOOOOOMMMMMMEEEEEE

  • it looks like the lego machine and the cube are maknig love ^^ ;)

  • very good robot wau

  • THIS IS THE BEST LEGO PROJECT!!!!!!

  • Hi, where can I find how to do projects such wonders? I can not find anywhere else thanks for your help

  • wykop kurwa!

  • so Steve Jobbs, can Iphone do this!?

  • @rostoccer probably

  • @rostoccer theres an app for that

  • @rostoccer Go ask him...

  • Theres another song that sounds like the one in the video

its not the same song but it almost sounds the same

    Alexander Perls - Storm

  • song name plz:P

  • GO FOR WR !!! XD

  • @dennis19101993 - do you know what the world record is for a robot 4x4x4 solve? ;-)

  • It solves the rubik's by using only D, D' and D2 :D

  • O Lego como engenharia e o Nokia como cérebro,,,bacana, belo resultado...

  • I like how u used only same color lego parts. Anytime i build such a thing its just a colourful mess ;-)

  • OMG! it alost did it faster then a chinese person!!

  • THIS THING IS SMARTER THEN HUMANS!

  • how you can make that? It's nice!

  • btw it was a nokia n95 that was made in FINLAND, not made by Nokia(made in china) the made in china version(which came later on the market) was 1/3 cheaper, and even worser.

  • a nokia n95 i just 2 own one(a couple days after the release years ago when it was to expensive) what a dissaster.n96 and n97 which i hoped was better is even worser(i bought them bought) and now i am not buying any nokia anymore.

  • this looks like an eastsheen 4x4x4. is the system adaptable to bigger cubes like the rubik's, mefferts, and hopefully later v-cube?

  • @d4m4s74 - this particular robot can only solve the 4x4x4 but have a look at the later "MultiCuber" robots on ARMflix and IAssemble ;-)

  • can it make coffee?

  • @BluABK You're completely correct xD

  • absolutely fantastic

  • This is actually better than the Rubik's cube itself!

  • i want one of these for christmas :)

  • the look on both me and my brothers faces were: =O Nice Job!

  • OMG AWESOME!!

  • thats amazing!!!

  • badass win!!!

is the app that's running on the n95 available for download anywhere???

  • Lego NXT (2.0) for Ever

  • EASTSHEEN FTW! mine broke tho :/

  • EPIC WIN DUDE!!!!!!!!!!

  • this would of been cooler if it did it fast.

  • *of ...

  • Achievement: Skill Mastered.

Next: Build this out off K'nex.

  • is anyone else's head bobbing?

  • @Ibly31 yea

  • i have one of those, its called my MIND :O

  • awersome!

  • LEGO WIN!

  • thats amazing

  • Epic Win. Whats the musik called?

  • awsome

  • lol when its x10 the robot is dancing to the music

  • what if the robot over turns the eastsheen?

  • @rubiksgh3 - thanks for the question. If the cube was accidentally overturned, this robot would probably jam and give up. However, my later MultiCuber and Speedcuber robots have a built-in software mechanism that can detect if a motor stalls and attempt to recover by turning it in the opposite direction.

  • @IAssemble that is so cool!

  • Music = Win

    Idea = Win

    Lego = Win

Moves that matches the music = Win

    End result = Win

A truly PURE WIN if I've ever seen one! ♥

  • Maybe you should be a bit proud of this video.

  • 25 min took it to solve without speeding up video rofl :P

  • @MakkeSk8 - not far off - actually I recall it was slightly faster than that at about 19 minutes.

But have a look at the "MultiCuber" videos if you're interested in faster and bigger solvers ;-)

  • @IAssemble ye i will do that, i saw on a video that this is your account too, can u tell me which remix of "Rank1 - Airwave" it is? I really love this song! (subscribed on both accs)

  • WHAT IS THE SONG?

  • song?

  • song? awesome machine!

  • 14 people missed the Like button, for this is a TOTAL WIN!

  • baile robot jajaj xD

  • Why not using the "less possible moves" algorithm that a computer can find? Cause it is using a human method, which is much more slow.

  • @SilentEliminator - how many moves does it normally take you to solve a 4x4x4 cube using your "human method"? ;-)

  • @IAssemble

Oh well, maybe I was wrong, but it sometimes really seems as algorithms, anyways.

  • @SilentEliminator - I wasn't suggesting you were wrong - there probably are better algorithms for the 4x4x4 cube that are suitable for computers (or mobile phones ;-) ) but not for humans. This is certainly true for the smaller 3x3x3 cube.. The algorithm I wrote for this robot is based on the way I solve the 4x4x4 myself but with some optimisations that I suspect would be beyond most humans. It solves the puzzle in far fewer moves than I can myself!

  • i hope its not fake :(

some people have done similar things by just reversing the video and sayong "OMG IM SO COOL I SOLVED IT"

  • @ICETEEBAG - have you seen the other ARM Powered LEGO solvers on ARMflix? ;-)

  • are alorythmes involved?

  • Can you do the 12 sided megaminx?

  • @Noobtac - thanks for a good question - the 12 sided megaminx would be a significant challenge because of the shape of the faces and the angles between them! All my existing robots are designed to work with cubes which fits naturally with LEGO since it lends itself to constructing shapes with right-angles. BTW I am already working on another 'bot at the moment in my "spare" time so keep your eyes on the ARMflix and IAssemble channels or follow me on twitter @DavidGilday if you're interested ;-)

  • @Noobtac Some time ago you left a comment asking about a robot to solve the 12 sided megaminx... You might like to take a look at the "Android Megaminxer" on the ARMflix channel ;-)

  • Dude, you are a freakin' genius. This is way cool! I love it. I have no idea how I would even start to make such a thing. Well done!

  • @NakedWombat666 - thanks! Have you seen my other solvers on the ARMflix and IAssemble channels? ;-)

  • How long did it take real time?

  • @Noobtac - thanks for asking how long the solve was in real time. I recall that it took about 19 minutes for this solve of 109 moves. In comparison, my "MultiCuber 777" can solve a 7x7x7 puzzle in around 475 moves in only about double the time.

  • This is great. I can't see though how is the phone communicating with the lego machine? Is it plugged in or transmitting wirelessly?

  • @Noobtac - it uses Bluetooth

  • awwwwwwwwwwesome

  • my friend made one of these

  • @Ultamateyoshifan - cool - do you have a link? I'd love to see another 4x4x4 solver

  • @IAssemble no he din't make one and his can solve a 3x3x3, a 4x4x4, and i think a 5x5x5 but i'm not sure

  • @IAssemble in case you didn't understand what I meant by he din't make one I was refering to a video

  • That is so awesome *.*

  • That is phenomenal. Lets see you crack the "Alexander's Star", and I will buy you a drink of anything you want in any bar anywhere, anyti
