The protoss used to look so much more like the Tau, the ailien race from warhammer 40.000, who inspired the protoss, but now they look more like the dranei from WoW, wich is wierd since warcraft was inspired by the warhammer world.

You're wrong here. Tau are pretty new race in WH 40K universe. The ones 'toss were based on are Eldar with warpgates, prism crystals and all the 'ancestry and binding minds into one network (which failed for them creating Slaanesh in progress)' and so.

Theres no official date set up yet. But the Multiplayer is already functional. It's just a matter of the Single Player mode, which is still unfinished. I believe the first quarter of 2009 is realistic.

u can say all kinds off alien races have motherships...this are callled for they are the capital ships of capital ship or 1st to the carriers and can also bee called warship or flagship which means(main weapon in war, and ship that has the most highly regarded defences

This "motherShit" is an extreme powerful unit, a kind of hero, and I'm so doubtful it, along with Zerg Queen, would break the perfect balance of the three races. Then all of your strategies would build around the heroes, losing creativity of the game. You can see in Warcraft III, many of us tend to control the powerful heroes most of the time and not focus on macro strategy. Hope Blizzard have right decision about these units:D

The "Epic Battle" was just small constantly replenishing armies with good units. That battle would have been so much more boring if it was human controled. For example: the mothership would have kept attacking after 4:34, the units would have focused their attacks, the warp rays would have attacked stronger units (like Battlecruiser and Seige tank), and the Battle cruiser wouldnt waste its Yamato on random weak units. If you think of anything else please add it. Otherwise I CANT WAIT I CANT WAIT

They will probably expand upon the special abilities of each race. Protoss will be more expensive but stronger, zerg will be cheap and fast, and terran will be average in both categories.

Yea a really cool new thing they had is a unit that can burrow undergrownd and move undetected, so you could creap into a persons base, and the unit can "zergify" any buildings and if ur enemy is building men they will come out infested and they would cost nothing lolz so yea i'm so looking forward to it

What if every race gets a mothership type class. A GIANT Spider Zerg that starts mutating everything around it. And can be evolved to turn into a Fly that sprays acid And uses an ability that allows it to control ships to close. And the Terrans? Multiple buildings that merge to create a giant robot as a last resort that slices flying units, stomps to send burning waves, and repair/heal terrans as they step inside of it. With a bonus that makes terrans fight better. Cool!
