The food looks amazingly delicious. I've never tried Thai food and I really want to, but I don't know where to find a good restaurant here in Northern California.

I did not see any over-weight Thais while there. It is just too hot to gain any weight. And I did not eat most of the food I saw. I did enjoy their many varieties of fresh fruit though.
@samkfung1 I ate and ate and ate in Thailand for a month and came home 15 pounds lighter. That was all ruined by a single massive steak burrito on the second day back....
@LostandFoundTravel Same thing happened with me, i ate so much healthy Thai food and lost weight! I think because i have seen the food cooked fresh without any added chemicals, preservatives or dyes. I couldn't find any street vendor opening up a can or a box of ready made food..i have since been trying to eat fresh foods only and i noticed i walked alot in the exreme heat while there, that too helped with weight loss..just make sure to drink lots of water ^__^
@samkfung1 I was there from this past May 28 - July 8 visiting my Thai friend who showed me around BKK eating everything from the street vendors and never got sick once, just make sure you see them making your food fresh and not just sitting there for a questionable time..and i felt like i was eating way more than what i eat normally in Fl, USA but when i got back to the States and weighed myself, i had actually lost 11 lbs!!!
