@tealgamemaster ok, btw i would rather get a Roxio Game Capture (HD Component AV Capture Card) because it's way cheaper than a HD PVR, i saw it in Maplin and it's exactly the same price as the Dazzle Video Recorder Platinum, it's only £79.99 and if i was to get a capture card for that price i would choose the Roxio Game Capture because you get HD quality for the exact same price, i'm thinking about getting one soon :)

@COOLPRO195 Whilst Hauppauge is more expensive, I wouldn't be buying it (would be a birthday present) also, It's better, as it has a lot more options, It'll prob last longer, ALSO Roxio can't record Wii games.

@tealgamemaster fair enough, btw it just says that it records PS3 & Xbox 360 games on the box but i've seen footage of it recording PSP & Nintendo Wii games. hang on, are you saying it because you only have a standard AV cable for the Wii and Hauppage HD PVR also has standard AV inputs? if you are then you can get a component AV cable for the Wii in the shops

@COOLPRO195 I know, it's just I prefer Hauppauge and my friend tried it with me and it's MUCH better than I thought, so i'll have that :) (plus it comes with it's own editing system, just in case vegas decides to die one day

@tealgamemaster kl, then you must be lucky to get a Hauppauge HD PVR as a birthday present and it's very expensive as well, whoever's buying you it must be very generous to give up a lot of their own money for someone, btw Roxio Game Capture also has it's own editing software and it's been rated 5 stars on the Maplin website and i hope that the Hauppauge HD PVR is rated 5 stars too seing that it has both standard and component AV inputs which is an alternative for getting a Dazzle or an Easycap
