Honestly, after watching all versions: IU hit the low notes perfectly. Hyorin hit the high notes perfectly. Insooni's version was pure perfection. Just my opinion tho.

IMO, Hyorin and IU both are very capable singers considering their ages and who is a "better singer" boils down to the matter of listeners' taste. To me Hyorin has a Beyonce-like gospel vibe with big and powerful performances. The grander the stage and the song is, the more her charm shines. IU has a very acoustic vibe, more subtle and soulful, her singing feeling more like conversation. The more intimate and the closer the stage is to the audience, the more her charm shines.
Okay I have to put aside the fact I love Hyorin's voice, but it is hard to not compare to alot of popular kpop artists out there, especially female idols. Hyorin's high not is sooo different from the rest of kpop female. If you listen to IU which is mentioned alot in here, her high not is not so smooth as well with, Jieun from secret, Taeyeon which alot may say she is a power house, but I beg the differ. The Davichi girls, they have nice voice but those high notes, NAW..okay I am tired of typing

do people even know what emotions are? in order to be a good musician (which hyorin is) you have to put emotion into almost everything you perform. hyorin quite clearly puts emotion into everything, listen to her music with your eyes closed and you can just feel it. IUs version is great too, but why is everyone comparing the two? no two covers are ever going to sound the same and i'd love love love to see all you judgemental freaks sing a song of this standard and pull it off.

I feel like I can't compare Hyorin's, IU's, and Taeyeon's with Suzy's version of Goose's Dream.. Her's was pre-recorded.... and she cut out certain parts of the song.... I feel like I can't compare Hyorin's, IU's, and Taeyeon's with Suzy's version of Goose's Dream.. Her's was pre-recorded.... and she cut out certain parts of the song.... She sang it with Eunjung too.... I like Suzy's better.. but her's wasn't live like the others >.< I think out of all 3.. IU's was the best! ^^
