Assalaamu alaykum. Who narrated the status of Sh Suhayb Hasan hafivahullah to Sh Muqbil Rahimahullah?

Akhee are u in UK? Have you spoke to Sh Suhayb Hassan regarding this audio?

On the case of Sh Suhayb sitting with alQaradhaawee then so did Sh Al-Alaamah Abdil Azeez ibn Baaz, Rahimahullaah, numerous times at the Muslim World League (for the common benefit of the Muslims). Is there a separate ruling for SH ibn baaz and for Sh Suhayb?

It should be noted that Shaykh Bin Baz was the head Mufti of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role of those in governement who utilise mudaaraat or diplomacy at the request of the ruler does not establish a principle for everyone else to follow." So, yeah there is a huge difference between Sh. Bin Baz as the mufti of Saudi Arabia sitting with Qaradwee at the request of the ruler and Dr. Suhaib Hasan sitting with Qaradwee.

Exactly brother barak Allaahu feekum. The scholars are qualified to sit with ahlul bid3ah and advise them and refute them properly as needed. Please do not put suhayb hassan at the level of the mufti Aboo Alee by asking such a question, Jazakum Allaahu khayran.

Imaam Ahmed Shaakir said (Al-Baa'ith:1/289):

" If there is a Jarh (criticism) whose reason has been explained and a Ta'deel (Praise), then the criticism has precedence even if the number of Mu'addillon (Those praising) are many, because the one who is criticising has additional knowledge which the Mu'addil has not come across and also due to the fact that the ( Jaarih) is affirming that which the mu'addil has reported from the apparent state ( of the one who has been criticised)..."

If a person has been given Ta'deel by some of the Scholars but others have criticised him with a Jarh Mufassar (Criticism which has been explained). Then the Jarh Mufassar has precedence.

Dr Shuaib Hasan is the former of the 'Markazi Jamiat Ahle-Hadith' Britaania (MJAH).

Shaykh Muqbil رحمه الله (from Yemen) alone has 3 different fatwas against Dr Shayb Hasan, and this is just the start.. more to be uploaded soon inshallah.

Assalamualaikum brother can you tell me in details what are the errors of Suhaib Hassan jazakAllah

He claims to be a Shaykh when he is not at such a position (for an alim is not declared an alim until the ulema (scholars) of the time recognise a person to be an alim. A person cannot just simply declare himself a shaykh or an alim).

Also, whilst he was the Ameer (and held the position at the head) of the 'Markazi Jamiat Ahle-Hadith' Britaania (MJAH), he was known to promote the like of Syed Qutb, Yusuf Al-Qardaawee, Abdul-Rahmaan Abdul-Khaaliq even when told about the deviance of such people, he did not listen.

Also, he was warned numerous times about inviting extreme Soofees, Ikhwaanees, Deobandees, Asha'rees and even kuffaar to their masjid to deliver lectures, yet he critised those brothers who advised him. He said that this goes against muslim unity since the muslims are in a fagile state in the UK. At times, the extreme Rafidiyyah Shia were also invited to the masjids to give biyaans (lectures) !!?!

The mushaikh of Saudi Arabia and Yemen were asked about the permisibility of such actions (and many others) and the Scholars were united in their position.

Many Scholars have advised Suhaib Hasan on a number of occasions about his erros. Yet he refused to listen or change.

Then after a period of time, this is when the first scholars started issuing warnings against Dr Shuaib Hasan and his doubts that he presented.

It is also known that he then went on the defensive by openly critising (without any evidence) some of the scholars who spoke against him.

It was after this that even more fatawas were issued against him and more advise for him to change his ways, but to no avail. Wallaahul-musta'aan.

Even Shaykh Muqbil has advised the Salafis. He said

"if you are able to prevent him from entering your masaajid, then prevent him. If not for your ownself, then for the sake of your children so that he does not corrupt their hearts.

But if you are not able to prevent him, then when he comes, you depart/leave from the masjid and leave him to talk to the empty pillars in the masjid!

So do not sit with a deviant, one who is astray."
