  • I REMEMBER THAT. Oh my goodness I used to live in the Dallas area and it was like REALLY close to touching where i lived. I saw a buncha scary looking clouds and it was raining rly hard and if i remember correctly we were under a tornado watch! It was sooooo scary!!!

  • we were with no lights for 16 days that sucked but it was better than being in Seabrook,Laporte and Galvaston they got it bad.

  • Beautiful video, I'm currently serving on the gulf of Texas to rebuild homes that have still not been repaired from Hurricane Ike. I was wondering, what is the name and artist of the song?

  • 2:37 not much damage is it far inland then. My house is safe LOL i live in england the country of miserable weather boring never any cool storms LOL

  • You know what killed your beautiful aquarium and fish, and you know what caused that hurricane? The governments weather control.

  • I remember when this hit us. I live in houston texas close to galveston. We had no power for three weeks and all McDonald could serve was chicken nuggets because of low food supply. Now imagine something bigger hitting the whole world. What then?

  • cococola184- me and my cousin were talking about that, you know, how it brought us all together....And It Did, It Brought My Whole Family Together!

  • i live in houston & it looked like a bomb had exploded. everything was torn up & flooded. there was no electricity. there were no lights. nothing! but you know what? the communities bonded together so much & i think it was honestly the first time all of my neighbors got together to help each other. i think God sent hurricane ike to bring everyone closer together.

  • u r right

  • 2:16

wow..the front of that place got torn apart o.o

  • 1:29

I swear dad the hurricane put it there D:

i wasnt drinking or anything o:

  • We stayed. We survived 3 weeks with no power. We were the lucky ones. Truth be known..it's not the destruction of property or loss of things. It's the destruction inside, inside your heart. No longer feeling safe from natures wrath.

  • We went 3 weeks without power...it sucked MAJORLY!!!

  • war is going on for many other reasons other than terrorism. i think terrorism is the last reason the war is happening.

  • what the fuck does that have to do with a hurricane

  • Our war in Iraq is not because terrorism. Its our religious beliefs.

  • @S4LTxW4T3RxN00B hey its because terrorism okay !!!

  • this is a nice video

    i didnt evacuate lol

  • I think this is a warning that we are not taking care of the earth, or we are not peacefull by having wars. Hurricanes have been getting worse and worse, so I can see we need a better job.

  • yea i agree 100% but we are only having a war now in irac or watever is so that we can make sure our earth will be safe from bombs and from bombs make more dibree and that....only some people care about the earth staying...but they hve a plan off people livin on marz and the moon...if they make an atmusshprere out off burin trash on marz...ppl will be able to live on marz and they moon

  • really on mars? amd the moon? wow

  • well on the moon... but that is just my step dad's idea for marz

  • i live in nw houston and my hood had electricity day after the cane happened

  • Consider yourself fortunate. I met with some friends this evening and they still are without electricity. Eleven days after the storm, there are still over a half a million people without power.

  • @ganthonyvr yup so did I. I live close to spring branch

  • Yes, we went through the creep calm before the storm with Rita when most of Pearland evacuated. One of the most terrifying nights of my life. We now live in Phoenix. Once was enough...

  • Wow I know where those apartments are. They were just built not too long ago. Cool video. I need to make one. I got like 700 pics in around the Pearland area. Went to Kemah and Seabrook one day too.

  • A few of us were fortunate enough to have electricity restored within 3 or 4 days. Most are still without, but it is progressively getting better each day. All of the efforts from outside the city and the crews working around the clock has allowed many to benefit from their hard work. Thank You! Thank You! Thank you from the bottom of this city's heart to everyone involved with the relief efforts. Your presence has definitely made a positive difference!

  • That was intense. I hope everyone in the apartments were okay. Gold help those who cannot help themselves... ♥
