Topspin 4 MUCH MUCH better than Virtual Tennis! I have both, but Virtual Tennis is much easier than Topspin, and VT is not realistic at all.

Get Topspin 4 if you like tennis!

I wasn't sure if Topspin would be a better a tennis game than Virtua Tennis or Grand Slam Tennis made by EA Sports. I know EA is good at making good video games that work well with motion controls such as Tiger Woods Golf. I wasn't sure if Topspin would be a good game because it is made by 2K Sports. 2K Sports makes MLB 2K which is suppose to be a very bad baseball game. They make batting very complicated. There also ends up being lots of problems if you are playing the Wii version.

On normal setting top spin 3 is much more difficult than this one... But on hard its just right for me at the moment... By the way top spin 4 has way more polished gameplay than 3

@topografer The thing about this game is to learn some timing.. The different kind of shots can be learned quickly but what's important is to have good timing.. That way you control the hits better and you find yourself in easier situations than to hit with bad timing

Not to sound condescending, but for real tennis fans or people who follow the game in real life, there's no doubt that Top spin is the better game. When you're an avid follower of a sport, you want realism in the games not the arcadey feel that VT gives you. Top spin is perfect when it comes to realism, but it's certainly a lot closer than VT and the closest tennis game out there.

Now please, 2KSports, add some commentary for the next version, and oh yeah fix Nadal's grunt, that's so not him.

Madridsta101: VT4 is not only better in graphics thant 3 & 2009, the moves are better, they don't fall, or swim, ball speed is more realistic (not effect) and match omentum is good. it also has a good online mode.

@Tennishead39 Yeah, Boris had a very upright stance with his feet quite close together, he also had a very deep knee bend to propel himself up at the ball which was tossed more in line with his head than in front of his right shoulder. The ball toss gave him severe kick on both serves. Watch his serve from the '85 Wimbledon final and you'll see what i mean. They must of thought it would be too expensive to get each played in to hit some balls to map their real shots - still love the game tho.
