  • Hey ASSEMblerEX where do you usually get dev-kits and debug kits?

  • YOU HAVE TO LEARN TO USE A CAMERA!

  • This isn't nintendo hardware...

  • This isn't nintendo hardware...

  • Imagine Nintendo selling one of these as a "Family Computer".

  • 5 bucks... Take it or leave it...

  • Would you ever consider selling this system? This is a serious offer.

  • The controllers use phone jacks?

  • Maybe that mystery "DE-9" port is for Atari/Commodore/Sega controllers. Heh.

  • will there be a version of gamecube that can do HDMI and ujpscaling of the residenet evil 0 games? i really want to play them as good as they looked in the commercials.. which gamecube didnt show at all.

  • It's can run GameCube games?

  • 0:25 from what game is this song?

  • @CommanderTato sounds like a shmup (2D shooter)

  • Was this a cartride or disk based console.

  • @shadowdreamcast I'm pretty sure it's disk

  • dont the dolphin prototype controllers you own have the sane phone line looking plug in?

  • @dj9mhz nm watched the whole vid.

  • Ever think about donating it to somebody to have it fixed? ;)

  • Very interesting, what sort of damage did it incur? It may well be fixable with some solder work and re bracing the boards?

  • 0 dislikes there is some hope in this world

  • Another great video as usual, shame on the seller that destroyed an awesome piece of equipment :/

  • so it used a pc case. i should recreate this using my gamecube.i have a tower similar to the one used here

  • Could the 'mystery port' be a DE-9 game controller port as used on Amiga, Atari and Sega machines?

  • I personally thik your videos are awesome, you have some really rare stuff.

Just wondering, does it not power up or does it just not boot up?

  • Good grief... Reminds me of the knucklehead who sent me the Dreamcast I bought off him a couple of months ago in a shoe box with a little bit of bubble wrap.

Not that it would have helped much if Royal Mail or Itella (the Finnish postal service) would have dropped the thing because the Dreamcast is so wide it's almost flexing the box even without any bubblewrap in between it's sides and the sides of the box. Luckily it did arrive intact, but it it did have some ground coffee-like stuff inside

  • R.I.P Dolphin :(

It sucks that there are idiots on the internet that sell electronics and rare items that just DON'T know how to pack stuff properly. Sorry to hear that ASSEMbler, I bet that guy doesn't pack like this all the time, he just wanted to keep more money in his pocket. Some people are so selfish.

Keep the videos up, and I'll post as many as I can on my blog to get you some more views buddy.

  • Not sure why you don't have partner status yet. You should continue to do new videos, please.

  • thank you very much for destroying a piece of history dumbshit seller ¬¬

  • I remember that being on eBay, I almost bought it, glad I didn't now herring about the shipping, if I would have bought it and it came all broke, I would have got my money back from paypal or the credit card company and sent that baby back.

  • wow

  • I am sure it can be repaired. You just need to find the broken traces. May take a long time though.................

  • great review.

I am a collector of Brazil, and I love gamecube and dreamcast.

    thanks and a hug.

    sorry for bad English.

  • What a shame that the unit was damaged. Still cool to see though.

  • Unfortunate you're toning down on video output, I always watch when new ones are put out, and that was rare enough as it was. Here's hoping you get those views, you clearly deserve them.

  • Ouch, doesn't even work @__@

  • where do u get this stuff??

  • Stupid cheap bastards. I've never sent an item (even a bare gba cart) without being adequitely packed.

  • I love your reviews, especially that you take these babies apart and explain everything. Fantastic work. And shame on the moron who broke this, jeez...

  • Might the RJ11 Connectors from the Dolphin Development Hardware be the same type like those from the Ultra64 Development Hardware? They're also RJ11 and could be mapped to an N64 Controller Adapter which is fully compatible to the final controller design of the N64. Probably someone could assume then, that the N64 might understand Gamecube Controllers?

  • But some morons still manage to break it.

If I could get my hands on this,I might be able to see what is specifically wrong and might be able to fix it...

  • epic :)

  • I love seeing these!Especially from the inside!
