I am not trying to be a bitch but let me tell you I am an army wife and have been for many years and I have been through several deployments so I have the right to say this.neither the soldier nor spouse have it harder. it drives me nuts when women sit there and say its harder for them cause they have to be mom and dad I get that I do but please don't say its harder for you. because its equally as hard for them being over there its just DIFFERENT kinds of hard. on another note I like your video.

As an army fiance' currently going through this for the first time, it is hard. It is painful, but she will get through it and you will get through it because there aren't another ways around it. Remind her every moment that you can how much you love her and how much you'll be wanting to get back to her. Even if you think she knows, she needs to hear it anyway. Be strong, be safe, be proud of what you do. And come home to her. She'll be waiting. :)

That is very rude. For the record I am an AirForce wife and I am far from skinny. My hubby and all the other airman,seaman,soldiers,and marines are fighting for us right now. And yeah there are alot of military babies being born right now... the reason is us military wives go anywhere between6-18 months at a time with out seeing our significant others..you'd want to have sex too.

oh my goodness! my husband just left for basic about 2 months ago. and i havent realized how hard its going to be until i seen this video. you wouldnt believe how many tears have streamed down my face. and the part that gets me most is the part about the dream... when he first left i would always have silly dreams about him, and i would be so excited to wakeup and tell him, but i too would roll over, and he wouldnt be there...but God is bigger than all things! My husband is in iraq and has been now for 6 months he had to leave the day after we got married it wasnt easy for us but keep your heads up ladies this is our 3rd deployment and we made it to be a proud married couple threw it all the videos on this get me threw this hard time in my life we have an amazing 14 year old that misses his daddy everynight so I understand and if anyone needs to talk let me know I am here we wives need to stick together.

He left on the 7th of Jan. 2008 and he wont be home till sometime in 2009... I miss him more and more each day.. But ill have to say my 2 year old is haveing a harder time with him being away. We take care of the kids and the house and everything else they had to leave behind. We are the ones that have to be strong for our children and explain to them that there daddys had to go and play army and that they will be home soon.
