He's a Terrier and when they focus on something it's pretty impossible to break their focus. Did you have a good look under there because Yorkies a ratting dogs and its their instinct to catch them and any other little furry creatures who dare cross their path ha ha. my Yorkie does this under the sink sometimes too and everytime she's been doing it there's usually been a rat or a mouse or something (usually brought in by my cats) under there. I'm glad to see you've got a harness & not collar!
