The shows they do downtown are limited in that they can only use shells up to a certain size (due to the proximity of the buildings and the Aquarium. I think that it was a pretty good show considering the three locations they shot from. they only started setting up on Monday....

Hello mcangeli. In Valencia, Spain, they have the most incredible Fireworks I`ve ever sen anywhere - right in the middle of the city and throughout the neighbourhoods. For a short blast, see "Las Fallas Part 1." For the utterly unbelievable day time pyrotechnics see "Mascleta 17." If you see these, you still don`t know half of it.

That is the downtown firewoks show. The big show in ATL is the show at Lenox Square - and that IS the biggest in the SE.

That was actually a pretty pitiful excuse for a fireworks show. I could do better for probably much cheaper with 1.4g product.

Southeast largest my butt. I am born and raised in Atlanta so please don't get me wrong, I wanted to see some awesome fireworks but that just wasn't it.

Hello poprocz. You would like to see some "awesome" fireworks,eh ? Go to Valencia, Spain, for their Festival of Las Fallas. For a short blast see "Las Fallas Part 1," in YT. They also have a daytime pyrotechnic display ( every day for 3 weeks running ) which is utterly fantastic.I mean so brilliant you can`t imagine. For an example of this go to "Mascleta 17, " in You Tube. Let me know what you think.

Alpharetta, Georgia was better and after the crowd dispersed there was an extra show of fireworks that was great; before the show there was several great groups that played, and some darn good BBQ plus the crowd wasn't so large so the seating was great on the ball grounds at Wills Park (our Equestrain Center) - our traffic was gone in about 15 minutes with our grat police force directing traffic. Next year, if you want safe family fun and a super great show make it to Alpharetta.
