why so much negativity? I find nothing wrong about the things she said.
And if you aren't breastfeeding use soy based formula (she said). that also makes sense to me since babies don't produce the encyme to process lactose.
All of this advice is aimed for those breastfeeding. How about if they are not? No advice given at all. The video title should be renamed appropriately, that way less people would dislike the video, and it also would have saved 20 minutes of my life (I had to watch it twice).
colic does exist.... its due to diet maybe gassy tummys or a baby that wont stop crying.... so its un true when you say it doesnt exsit all that you have proven is that its possiable to make your baby content or calmer.
Interesting talk... But how to explain situation where the same mother, with the same lifestyle and eating habits got two childrens (2 years apart), and older had extreme colic, while younger had none of them?!!!
So Your theory seems like lacking true explanation.
From what I saw on the video, emotional factors are emphasized, but if You involve food sensitivity, then it's irrelevant wheather emotional factors accounts. Let me put it this way, if You just had dinner in the restaurant with Your gf/bf and she/he told You that You are splitting, You will fill bad (and might have anxious stomach) - that's emotional facto of pain, but if You ate some spoiled food, You will have stomch pain no matter does Your gif/bf leaving You or not.
It means that it is a result of lifestyle, not a true condition (resulting from genetics or some real disease process). Change the lifestyle (diet) and the problem should resolve.
what i don't get is that you say it doesn't exist, yet your explaining how to stop the symptoms ... so to question this, Why would you explain how to cure something that doesn't exist?

@max5250 could be one child has a food sensitivity that the other one didn't, or other emotional factors may be involved...

isn't it possible that your baby just got over the colic on her own?
