  • rogue, yeah... that guy has some long, skinny arms. I'm short girl so I have to dyno stuff that some guys can easily reach. Sucks. :P

  • rock climbing and Dyno etc are easy when youre tall and skinny lol

  • thats not a world record

  • when climbers clap, everybody coughs.

  • That dude is a GIANT

  • looks like he came straight from practice with the ukrainian gymanstics team.

  • wow hard dyno if your 7 ft tall pfffffff

  • that applause was pretty half ass

  • Great ... but not a very exact sport ... he uses different feet in his last 2 attempts. Surely he's worked out which side works best for a left dyno ?

  • now try it on grit!

get down to buckstone then try some others out...

  • why dont they make it jump right? that seems like it would make more sense. they are reaching with there right hands.

  • if it was right ud grab wit ur left. its higher up givin ur bodys angle

  • hmm yeah idk ud think that it would be a jug but if u look at it, it doesnt look like his fingers dip in much.

  • it does

    i enterd this

it was the biggest jug ever

peoples fingers didnt go in much because they were grabing with the tips of there fingers

  • what type of hold are they jumping onto?

  • a mono duh

  • his arms are like 5ft long

  • why did this comment get rated down? Look at his arms! Long arms + strong grip + minimal weight = perfect dynos

should be entered in the gibbon contest though. ;)

  • hahaha

  • ived trained with one of the guys in that video hes sponsored by la sportiva

  • The limits as far as bouldering goes are pushed in the gym and it is great training for technique and strength. Nothing will ever beat climbing outside on real rock. But to call this a disgrace is absurd and wrong. And to say rock climbing can not be competitive is the craziest thing i have ever heard. It has been competitive long before you were born. Look at Yosemite in the 60's it was a race to be the first to climb El Cap.... If the roots of climbing were not competitive then what was it?

  • exploration.

  • Well said.

  • lol, first you call it a sport, then you say you shouldn't be competitive.

    retard.

  • I was in that audience there, wasnt a very big audience though! Was pretty cool

  • Its on a 20 degree overhang and 45 degrees to the left.

  • No it is not rock climbing, since he's on plastic. But I wouldn't call it a disgrace to the sport since he's doing amazingly athletic and impressive things that are inspired by the sport. I'm not sure why you feel like you have to ridicule someone else's achievements. Seriously, get off your high horse and just climb.

  • i stand corrected.

  • Does the distance count the same at any angle? It seems certain angles would be favored then.

  • Probably not, since then you could consider falling and catching a hold a downwards "dyno."

  • is 2m 70cm still the world record?
