Absolutely gorgeous horse. Is he still dark or has he lightened up a bit? Is he up for stud? After college I'm planning on getting back into the Arabian world. . .when I get myself a mare I'll have to see if this guy's still around! I'd love to have one of his foals! Or him. haha
You're very lucky! Are you going to be at Scottsdale with him this year? I'm going to be visiting during the week. . .only a few days away!
I was looking at his face and was wishing my arab was that typy, and then I saw the movement and wished he moved a little more like that when I ride, and then I saw the tail... holy crap now that is a full tail. lol
that sand arena he wa sin beautiful I love arabians i used to own a mare beautiful creature but she sadly passed 3 years ago from cancer and it went un-noticed because there was no signs and we even took her to the vet :/ R.I.P Magestic Marmalade!
Oh my gosh! He is like the King Of The Desert! When I watched this video, I thought it was like a word from heaven. This horse is Jesus's messenger definately.
The true Arabian horse character is spirited, but gentle and very responsive to people. (However, if treated harshly, many would rebel.) My Arab stallion (old-fashioned authentic Arab, not 'Polish' nor 'Egyption') took my 3yr old daughter for walks, lowering his head to be eye-to-eye with her so he would not accidentally step on her. Sprited when appropriate. Not overly leggy, nor did he have Saddlebred-like action, but a floating trot. Did lead changes every stride... I was blessed.
I take it he's not really high-strung like most stallions??
There was an Arab stallion at the place where I went to horse camp in Geneva FL, and he was a real sweetie. I swear, he was more of a gelding than a stallion! He walked right up to me and took treats from my hand. He didn't rear or buck or anything like that, he was really calm and I was amazed @.@ His name is Accent on Magnum, or Magnum for short, and he's a gentleman.
The Quiet Man is as sweet as the stallion that you describe. That sweet and calm personality coupled with his charisma and trot makes him a very special horse in my mind.
what a magnificent animal...
