DUDE! i downloaded some pwnboxer for wow and this queer ass russian gave me a fake download with this trojan i tried avast and it shuts it down and all my anti virus programs. i tried downloading this but it says the page cant be loaded but when i open another window it works fine. WTF please help!!

I need some feedback. I ran my anti malware prgram and it says it found nothing. But in the task manager this process 'Mwq0b6e4.exe' keeps popping up every 2 hours or so, and then it keeps dulipcating this process making the computer run slower for each duplicate that it pops up until I end the process. If this is a virus how can I find which file it is?

@ZaZ1230 right click on that process and click "open file location" and if it keeps coming back, use your command prompt to delete it. if you don't know how, reply and I'll tell you

just get an anti-virus software, google AVG, its a free anti-virus software and it'll help you out. If that doesn't work then I guess you've got to reformat your computer then but make sure you back up all your stuff on a usb.

Whenever I run SmitFraudFix in safe mode, it gets partway in then is closed by something, and everything is gone from my desktop. It only returns to normal once I restart my computer (Via pressing the power button). Is there anyway to fix this?

Umm.. try to restart your computer and "unsafely" turning it off by holding the Power button down for 10 seconds. Keep trying this until you are given a screen which gives you an option on whether you want to Run Windows Normally.

I had the exact same problem! Try follow these steps exactly and it WILL work. Make sure you're running your computer on Safe Mode when you run SmiftFraudFix.

It might be fake. Like AntiVirus 2008&2009. If ur running XP it is hard to tell because they use a screen prompt from it. But, if Vista you should be able to tell because nothing looks like XP in the Vista OS.Run SpyBot S&D 1.60 maybe AVG 8.0 or 8.5.. 8.0 is a free version , but can't get rid of root kits... Also try running a sys cleaner too it helps get rid of malware. Or open disk cleanup.. Just a sugestion...
