  • I had a 2000 model tacoma and would have loved to do the 2jz engine swap as well.....but sold it back in 08.....man I regret that now. Well done buddy

  • how much would it cost to do a swap exactly like that?

  • how many miles did u have to start with? anything that you would recommend checking on your engine to make sure its compatible for a turbo? such as compression? besides everything being in good condition as well.

  • @WearinThaHeadband

A good compression check would be the first thing I'd do. Along with replacing the seals since you never know how long these engines have been sitting.

  • nice

  • STRAIGHT!!!!!! uP sLEEper

  • i havnt any hands on with toyotas , but i have always wanted to do a pickup with an inline 6 wether be rb25 or 2jz. but this looks so clean .

  • this is possibly the greatest combination in the world.

    i want.

  • could you put a 2jz engine ina 05 tacoma 4wd?

  • what were the dyno results if any at all and if not what would be an estimate

  • Wow.......Nice Work, to you and your Sponsors that helped you to build this S-Runner together, with a lot of Endurance & Passion and also Money! It seems that you have built a Toyota Tacoma Supra Contender.

I would like to know how much time and what exactly was needed in order for you to swap the 2.4,2.7 or 3.4 to the 2JZGTE out of a 94 through 96 Toyota Supra. Meaning that if you requiring to have the Supra's 2JZGTE Computer, Transmission and Rear End.

  • god damn i think i just fell in love all over agian............

  • hahah talking about over kill... i meant that in a good way.

  • this is the best truck i have ever seen...

  • well Ive always loved Supras. And I cant afford one at my age, and I dont want to wait. So I figured I would try to put a supra engine in a vehicle I already have. It would make for a very interesting project. It wouldnt be something you see everyday!

  • I was only 17 when I got my MKIV. I never gave up getting my dream car. Now I'm 19, I'm still driving to college everyday. And also Hawai'i's Youngest Supra Owner!!!

  • @badasspaintballer i think the cost of the parts and engine and laabor can get you a supra bro maybe 10 or 12k can get a jdm supra or skyline from osakajdmmotors

  • sooooo SICK!!! Do you think a 2JZ would fit in a Dodge Dakota? Im thinking about trying it....

  • sure it'll fit, it's just a matter of do you really wanna put a 2JZ in a truck? Personally, I'd throw that motor in something else, but that's just me....

  • Why would u want to put that in a dakota? U sound confused lol.

  • R154 from the 87-92 Supra Turbo. Been proven to hold 6-700 hp all day long. And 1/10th the price of a V160.

  • I have a 2003 GS300 that has a single T88 and i should be making around 650 to 700hp will ur truck beat my car?

  • @dbcaudill can i swap a 2jz to a peugeot 106 xsi??? but the engine only feet on back seet i think ..
