Although I share your love for The Tango Lesson...the movie does has its share of bad taste. The fact that the director is the chracter herself...is a little annoying....but the camera and the dancing...my god...are exceptional...it is one of the most realistic Tango dancing I have seen in a flick so far...
I share your legitimate retenue for this long pseudo-initiatic voyage. What is remarkable is indeed the tango frentic episodes that yield a sense of genuine elevation. Veron is a charismatic bailarin and the other guys are noneless prominent Argentines with proficient qualities.
