Yup, very true. But I still love VWs. Because of VW, we got the the beetle, the double-clutch gearbox, the GTI, Porsche, and the Bugatti Veyron. Germans rule at building anything!
The message of the ad is: Deutschland does better tuning than those....er...English speaking people. Don't see where that's giving Germans "a bad name".
I think it doesn't give any bad name to germans, it's just saying: if you're going to do a bad tuning , go buy a little VW instead, by the way, this car in Spain is called the "matapijos" which basically means the preppy-kid-killers, lots of accidents of young men.
