@jp66669 Both PS3 and Xbox upscales the images they produce. PS3 renders Crysis 2 at 1024x720, while Xbox 360 renders at 1152x720. Neither of the consoles render at full 1280x720. I have also never heard of a game on the PS3 which is rendered at 1920x1080, Gran Turismo 5 is rendered at 1280x1080 for the "1080p" output. Todays consoles are severely lacking compared to a 500$ PC in terms of hardware.

i still think Cry Engine 3 has been heavely downgraded due to consoles, in the cry engine 3 trailer when you shoot a launcher against a building the building gets damaged, in Crysis 2 maxed out it only gets darker, thank you consoles...

For FPS I don't see the infinity hype. For racing it would be nice and other certain games.
I have a 30inch ultra sharp. And need to have it about 3 feet away to play a FPS with. Otherwise the screens to big. So 3+ monitors playing infinity your have to sit further and further away from the screens. Otherwise you have to turn your head a lot to see parts of the screen. Which from experience sucks in a FPS.

I wish in the near future that there would be borderless monitors available. It's much better to use with Eyefinity and Sorround. Those borders right there on the video are very annoying... There's still "focus transition" from one monitor to another, if u know what i mean..

I will never understand why you need more than one monitor displaying a single image. Its one thing with for work and such. But having those areas were the sides of the monitor are would just annoy me. And you always get a weird perspective thing going on. Just one big Monitor is fine.

@misterhoobomaster i do not think so, remember the first crysis game that came out? it took about two years before cards that could play it at very high (not in sli/cf...) came out. i guess that they wont make this as extremely demanding relative to todays graphics cards, but it will probably be more demanding than metro 2033... it depends on your resolution as well, at 1680x1050 you'll might be able to play at high, but i kinda doubt it.
