@xKidPanda Same. A lot of people tend to hate A7X because of M. Shads voice or the drums. I think that's bullshit. I mean, Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance together.... no body can say they're shitty. Their guitar style is beautiful, and unique, unlike a lot of shitty screamo bands these days. Sorry to rant, I'm just glad I'm not the only one who loves them.

@wipers86 Thank you, I appreciate that! I learned it by ear, it's actually pretty easy to do. I don't know why everyone doesn't. I'm not all that fantastic on guitar, like not professional yet, but even I could learn the solo by ear.

You have a few options.

A: do you know anyone/bands that record their own stuff?? Cause you could talk to them an give em a few buck for the help. Im not a comptur wizz at all.. But if someone knows their way around the program its easy.

B: find a studio and pay. It could be really expensive. But if everyone has the mindset in your band to be serious, record that way. But i wouldnt pay tooooooo much.

C: start going/playing local shows. Youll start meeting people and what not and someone is boun

Im in one at the moment. But i really want to start one thats really heavily influanced by 70-80s punk. Like uk subs, subhumans, with kinda a acid psycodelic vibe to it.

@trashpunker I'm in two, but one is metal/hard rock, and the other is a Runaways kind of band, all chicks and one dude, but I don't feel truly right in both. 70's-80's punk is the best. I'm more of a punk kind of musician then metal or whatever. And yes I do, some lyrics, mostly guitar riffs.
