This is the 145th Gettysburg reenactment. It's hard to tell in this quality of video, but the fifer third from the right is a girl. :) If you look at my videos, I have one of the same group playing "Battle Cry of Freedom" in better quality. She is also in that video, third from the left. (Also in that video - but not this one - the soldier on the far right is a girl.)
@timestep19 They wouldn't let you fight because you're a girl? Wow, that's tough. :( My Major is probably sending a fife my way to practice so that we can have a fife. In short, hello from a fellow re-enactor!
@timestep19 really? the group I recently joined didnt bat an eye lash because im a girl and let me join no problem, treated me like i was just another guy joining. I was one of three girls fighting for the Union that day lol
course i dont do civil war, i do rev war both r fun though
