Since your are an at will employee in the state of PA why dont we shut down these carrier links and just use the library if needed at all instead, doing away with the job posting so that the commercial industry can use commercial ads and not use our tax dollars to post wanted ads on carrier link pa.

I got an Idea for cutting taxes, and balancing the budget, why doesnt the state eliminate funding for Nursing schools. Come to find out that the nursing industry when you are all done schooling is a McDonalds operation they will hirer the lowest paid and then fire the highest paid person and in the state of PA you are an at will employee they dont need a cause to fire you. If the Hospitals are in the need for nurses then they can fund the schooling for nurses and not the state tax payers.

My husband works for the state and although we knew this was coming and preparred as much as possible-we still wont be able to keep up with bills, mortage, and raising a family of 5. I bet....Rendal and our Elected officals got their pay checks? I though it was the Law that employees can not work without being paid? Thanks for your support.

Go AFSCME !!! United we stand. Posting these videos hopefully will get the message out that this is detrimentelal to theclives of State employees. The Governor is trying to make people beileve that this is just a temporary setback for us but in reality we have food to buy NOW and bills to pay NOW not whenever they decide to get back to work. It's not an inconvenience it's unacceptable.

As of 5pm today House Bill #1416 (Budget Bill) will have amendment attached and debate will begin in the House tomorrow. There will be a vote on this Budget Bill by Friday night to move to the Senate. AFSCME will not be privy to contents of the amendment until tomorrow and we will inform you what the amendment does to the Bill and the Budget.

I'm with you guys. I work for the Treasury in Harrisburg right across from the capital and we had a big rally Tuesday. 700 workers came out on there lunch breaks. This is Bull crap. We stook right outside the gov office for about 30 min,
