Naruto has literally over 100 filler episodes from the time he leaves Konoha in the manga to the time he returns after 3 1/2 years, so as far as fillers go it's just as bad, BUT I agree with you Naruto is still better than DBZ as far as the anime goes. Now the manga is a different story. It seems that almost every anime based on a manga is much worse than the manga itself. Cartoons are more about marketing and making money whereas manga creaters are artists trying to make a real masterpiece.
